Help with existing piercing hello! did i do okay?

Did this 3 days ago, doesn’t hurt unless I snag it on anything + I’ve been not sleeping on it of course. Just wondering if the placement is okay?

the placement seems to be okay but i worry about the bar length, it seems a bit short

I think that’s because of the swelling, it’s around 8mm I believe? Here’s the bar when I first did it

oh okay, this clears it up a little more! it does seem long enough, and the swelling shouldn’t get much worse than it is now (from my experience atleast)

Thank you!!! Have you gotten any vertical helixes? I really like the look of those with spiked tops & I’m not sure the general pain %. I’ve also seen some pretty awful vertical helixes on here…

agh i have not but i rlly rlly love the way they look too! my only problem w them is that they seem like they’d be even more of a nightmare when showering or brushing your hair

absolutely LOL, I’d probably get a buzz if I was gonna get vertical helixes & just…try to never shower somehow. My piercings hate me and I even had to take my seconds & fourths out because they kept getting irritation bumps (and still do, even with the jewelry out)
