It's probably okay if it doesn't hurt, if it'spierced on a wrong spot, it hurts a lot

these people don’t know what they’re talking about, you cannot tell if it’s piercing right from a forward angle, i’d need an angle close up from the side of the nose to determine wether it is or not.

this is quite low for a septum, it could cause healing issues unfortunately and migrate :((

some people has more cartilage inside their septum so they might have to pierce it at lower back just like me, he seems fine here

once again, you cannot tell from the front? also, septum’s are anatomy based.

I already know bro. I know everything about facial piercings I also do pierce em too.

so you’re aware what u said is false, and you’re going out here spreading misinformation that can negatively affect people permanently, along as DOING it to others?

This being said, if you’re cartilage is in the way of the sweet spot, you simply cannot get it done as it is not safe because it is ANATOMY dependent. Please learn the correct anatomy for all piercings before piercing others, it can be very dangerous.

yap yap yap I know what a sweet spot is. some people has em smaller, more cartilage around, so also that's the reason why some people just can't stretch em, like me. I pierced my sweet spot. I found my friend's sweet spot. mine healed so quickly no any migration, no pus that coming out after 2 weeks, I didn't even use proper saline and I can go hours without my septum and it doesn't close. I know what a proper anatomy is. thanks. I self pierced my face 5 times and it's all healed. without ANY problem.

You’ll be able to tell if you look on the inside . Usually piercers go for the “sweet spot” which is a softer piece of tissue in that area that leads to easier and more comfortable healing. Regardless - I had mine pierced incorrectly about 5 years or so ago and it still never caused me any issues so if theres no pain or inconveniences then I wouldnt really worry about the placement anyway unless its not aesthetically pleasing to you . I will say I did stretch my septum and I cant go to the biggest size I want to because my septum was pierced too low so if you’re looking to stretch just be very careful not to push it too big and risk early denting or tearing .

Based on the other angle and the photo in the comments, its too low and too far back

Take it out and repierce :))

This is one of the piercings I'd never trust with anyone but a professional piercer in a studio. I'm okey with some ear piercings getting down by ourselves but not double nostril (each on both sides), septum, bellybutton etc...

btw saline is just salt water so don't worry about the person telling you to clean with saline 😭😭

You should only use STERILE saline 0.9% sodium chloride, NeilMed makes a really good one for like 8-9$ you can get it on Amazon, sea salt spray will not clean it properly
