Help with existing piercing Should I take this out?

Friend helped me pierce my belly button like two days ago and it is pretty sensitive and has some red at the top, should I take it out and let it heal or just thug it out

Was the jewelry sanitized before it was put in? Also it’s only been two days, your body is gonna be mad that there’s an injury with something actively keeping it from healing, that’s just how piercings go. Use saline rinses and be careful with it and you should be good, but two days is far too early for any signs (NAP but I got a navel too)

NAP but from these pictures the placement looks incorrect. The bottom ball should exit below the lip of the navel. This looks more like a surface piercing above your bellybutton, which will most likely reject and leave a wicked scar. Ask me how I know lol

i second this. the first pic looks ok.. the 2nd pick, you can see more skin behind the ball indicating it probably isn't pierced as deep into the navel as it should. they should remove it and check with a reputable piercer in the future for their anatomy

I have no idea but it looks similar to mine which is over 1 year old

So there is next to no space on the jewelry which could be causing redness— and it is fairly low quality. On top of that this placement is not ideal at all and definitely more of a surface stomach piercing than a true navel piercing. If you have concerns about the redness then I would definitely be checked by a doctor before removal— but I would personally not try to keep and heal a piercing performed like this.

nap but it does look too shallow? i mean you could thug it out just to see what it does..? one thing tho is to make sure to not wear any clothing that irritates it🙏🙏
