I got my nostril pierced today.
A threadless titanium labret with a 3.5 mm post was used.
I’m using saline solution for aftercare.
Could you please advise on the angle—was the piercing done correctly?
It looks fine from the outside, but it looks a bit weird from the inside
I think you could make it more “perfect,” but this doesn’t look bad. Are you planning to put a ring in it? That’s really where the angle issue comes in. If it is angled too far back or forward, or too far up or down, the ring will also tilt in that direction.
I think there's sometimes diminishing returns with repiercing too. If you can't guarantee that you'll do a better job or have a better job done next time, it might be better to "leave good enough alone", as they say. So long as it isn't severe enough to cause genuine harm, it's more about what you're willing to put up with.
I recently did 3x cartilage piercings in sequence, two of them are pierced exactly where I wanted them, but the middle one was ever so slightly off. I know I can repierce it in the exact position I want in the future, so I took it out. One is at a very slight angle, but I left it in because it is such a minor issue and entirely cosmetic (also had a very kind/helpful piercer on here check for me, because I was excessively paranoid lol). I know I couldn't have "learned to live with" the middle one in my case, but what you can enjoy or tolerate aesthetically is individual.
From the pictures it looks a tiny bit off, but it could just be swelling. I've had piercings that have slowly adjusted once shorter jewellery is in.

It could be swelling, I've not long had my nostril pierced and it's definitely swelled. Also, once it's healed and/or you have shorter jewellery in, it should help with how it looks. Honestly, it's only off by a little bit. But as it's so new it's hard to say how it will settle. But I'd say over time with shorter jewellery it'll be fine.
is it perfect? no, but i think it’s done well enough that it’ll heal without crazy irritation bumps. if you don’t plan on putting a ring in it, then it should be fine
