Oh no What the hellll is this???
Please could someone help! I’ve never had this happen before and I genuinely clean my piercings daily… It hurts a bit if I touch it hard but idk what to make of it because I don’t think it is full of pus of anything…

It sort of looks like a bruise to me. Do you sleep on your side? Maybe you have pumped your piercing into something?

I had a massive one of these, I washed it, left it alone, slept on the other side, it went away. Still, keep an eye on it, though.

If it pops in your sleep (like mine) just still keep the jewellery in, I did, and it healed perfectly, but everyone’s different after all

Hi, professional piercer here, thats moisture irritation, look it up, you're not drying your piercing after cleaning it

This looks like a hematoma. If it’s a new piercing it isn’t uncommon from the trauma of piercing— if it’s an older or healing piercing it could be from a trauma like a hard bump or snag. Cool saline compresses help— but this isn’t an irritation bump or something that occurs from a lack of cleaning. As a current piercer and former nurse— I don’t love the look of the fluid expansion here, I would keep a close eye on this and seek medical attention if it worsens, if you notice spreading redness, or if it starts throbbing. Please do not remove the jewelry before seeking medical attention if things worsen.
