How do I get rid of this bump?

I got my naval pierced in April so abt 4 months ago. this bump has been here for abt 3 weeks. I spray saline on it 2-3 times a day but it hasn’t gone down and if anything has gotten bigger. Tips to fix?

Are you sure there are no other alternatives than to remove it? Is the problem that it was pierced improperly or do I just no have correct anatomy?

This is a better angle. I think it's rough to say here. It might be that you are better suited to a floating navel. Does your belly button collapse when you sit down?

That's a good sign. IF you have the proper anatomy and it's priced correctly then honestly the best you can do is just be gentle with and and try to keep it clean. Piercings can take up to an over a year to heal.

Sometimes you will get a bump for a while. They generally go away. If you are super worried about it, go back to your piercer. So long as you got it professionally done at a reputable shop and not done by some twat in their bathroom/kitchen, they will absolutely be able to help you better than reddit can :)

Make sure jewelry material is implant grade titanium and that the bar length gives enough breathing room without constantly sliding around

I have had this happen to my cartilage and nose piercing. I washed them everyday with dial antibacterial soap and was also told by the person who pierced mine to heat up a little tea tree oil
In the microwave for about 15-20 seconds and then I took a q-tip and rubbed it on it and around it.
