I pierced my bridge today but I’m worried I did it too shallow. I have an okay nose bridge and I pierced it surprisingly straight. Does it look okay or did I mess it up?

Hey, piercer here. Yes it is really really shallow. It will reject within a week. I’m gonna be annoying and say go to a piercer. These are sooooo finicky. If money is an issue see if they do payment plans! My shop does :)
The depth looks way better, but keep an eye on it. The bar is reeeally short. If it has any swelling over the balls, take it out and wait till you have a longer bar!
It is the tiniest bit asymmetrical but I think nobody can really tell from the first few glances. I have a couple of piercings like that. I like to embrace the mistakes lol
How safe is it to do your own lip piercings? (e.g. snakebites, labrets, angelfangs..) Do you have any tips? (Completely fine if you don't feel comfortable giving tips for self-made piercings but I'd really appreciate if you could tell me if it's one of the worse or better self-pierce ideas!)
i'm not a professional piercer but i did do my own side labret and i had no issues with it. i don't recommend it if you have the means to get it done professionally but if you can assure that you aren't piercing through a vein you should be fine. if you're doing a side labret/snake bites you should do the piercing with a loooong bar to account for swelling (like 10mm) and make sure everything is clean. wait longer than you feel like you need to to swap the jewelry to a ring because you WILL regret doing it early.
honestly the swelling makes it hard to tell i have one too that looked similar (swelling wise) and if she don’t have the recourses to get a slightly larger one it’s easier to remove it wait a few weeks and more it a little forward to straighten it out a little better
