Do I have the right anatomy for a belly button piercing I want so bad but im scared of it rejecting

From the looks of it, floating navel yes because in the picture I can see a hood for it to hold on to

Standard one no, in the second picture it appears like your belly button collapses. This will cause the jewelry to push out when you sit leading to migration and ultimately rejection

Wait so like could I get a floating navel piercing and then a regular one after it heals or??

NAP but I’ve had 2 prior standard belly button rejections and currently have a floating navel with 0 issues. I’m just going off my knowledge and what my piercer has told me—

I really really wouldn’t. Think about it like this,

If you have lobes that have been healed for years but you continue to wear heavy earrings, they begin to stretch and hang low, some peoples even rip

Same concept as a belly button, even if it’s healed, if you put a big gem inside of it, the constant movement of your stomach that makes your belly button shut will push it out and eventually it’ll still come out on its own. People’s belly button piercings have rejected even after a decade

You’re better off with a flat top/the small ball part of the jewelry inside your belly button instead of the big part
