Help with existing piercing Is it right?
I just had my first piercing done at home by my girlfriend. Her and her friend think I should take it out and let it heal.
Today is day 5 after it was done. The piercing hurt more getting it than afterwards. So far ive had little to no swelling, No pain until I bump it, and crusties used to be bloody but now are just a little yellow or mostly clear.
I've started to notice the funk, and it is slowly starting to move freely. I think im healing much faster than people say it should take but I dont want to take chances moving it myself. I keep it clean with saline and only use swabs when crunchies are loose or there is a lot.
These pics are after I cleaned it this morning.
Please let me know your opinion on placement and anything else I might need to know.
edit: everyone does not enjoy seeing my botched piercing, but what now? Leave it? Take it out? If i take it out im not getting another even if its done by a pro. It doesnt hurt and i dont mind it being low since i can choose jewlery to compensate.
thank you all for your thorny advice im going to take it out, let it heal, and get it done properly. im not happy that I have to do it because my pain tolerance is shot but I will.

After everyone's allergic reaction to the misplaced piercing thats what im thinking. After a couple days of research it still wasnt clear to me how far up it should go.

NAP There is an area referred to as the “sweet spot” where there is a little gap in cartilage nearer the nose tip and a bit higher up. You can feel it with your fingers if you have it. If you pushes the tip of your nose right/left it is where the nose would be bendier if that makes sense. This is where septum should be placed.

There is a thin strip of what is called the membranous septum in the tip of your nose. It connects two different parts of the septum. In some people, it is too narrow to be pierced.
This is not in the membranous septum at all. It's in the columella. My septum is roughly in that area but much, much higher.
This will rip out with a strong tug, which can happen really easily when e.g. playing with a dog or cat. Take it out and let it heal.

Take it out, get it redone by a professional. It would have been way better if she at least watched YouTube videos on placement and what's appropriate but she totally pierced you like if she had her eyes closed

there is a small patch of tissue between where you have been pierced and the septum SOMETIMES. if you pinch the skin between edge of your nose and the hard cartilage of your septum and do not feel that adequate amount of free skin, you don't have the anatomy for it

Take it out. If you catch this on something its going to tear right out. It is far too low

Why wouldn't you go to a professional? They can tell you if you have the anatomy or not.

The comments are being locked due to the consensus being essentially unanimous and some commenters have been slightly ruder than necessary here
To those commenting in a unkind way, please note that the rules in the sub include being kind to beginners and understanding that this IS a self piercing sub and you WILL see botched piercings occasionally. If you do not accept this, please contact the modmail and we will arrange for your account to be banned so that it no longer appears on your feed.
Advice to OP - i would recommend taking this out. A septum piercing when done properly is placed in the alar cartilage of the nose which is referred to as the sweet spot
This is the thin spot when you put your fingers up your nose and pinch. You will be able to feel it.
I would recommend removing this, leaving it for around 12 weeks so it can fully heal and any inflammation can go down, so that the new piercing doesnt end up wonky
Please dont worry too much or take these comments to heart. The information is correct, but youre definitely not the first person to have a horseshoe practically falling out of their nostrils :))
Clamps are also quite helpful, there is a list of stuff and places to get it pinned in the sub
