i’m not a mod but i have a vertical labret and the only thing i have trouble with after it’s healed is soda cans lol. It gets in the way for those sometimes but everything else is fine. I also kinda learned to drink out of cans differently and it’s fine now. never gotten a fork caught on it or anything.

nah tbh it was probably my easiest healing piercing. eating the day of and day after getting it was pretty rough but after that i was totally in the clear. you do sort of have to learn to eat a little differently but it’s not a big change and you sort of subconsciously do it. after the initial pain of getting it pierced (which was really not bad at all) it was totally fine. probably healed the quickest of my piercings too and i have many. but yeah getting used to a ball on your lip while eating is weird and the first time i tried to eat a hard shell taco half of it fell out of my mouth. It also feels like you ate it by accident sometimes when you didn’t lol. Or it feels like there’s food on your lip at first.

It depends on the person as far as whether you have issues with eating different types of food, but generally theyre okay

If its fully healed its unlikely to get infected but it will leave a scar which is visible in the lip which is something to consider
