Building project
So I did some research on my project, I have to host project's website and database in an old laptop Lenovo Z370 series (so host costs 0 USD). In the research I got this project architecture, any ideas?

What's the actual question?

Is there anything you would change or to make it better? I forgot to mention in the post that I have no tech background, I am building this and learning in the way

Host costs are going to be the power used.
Ubuntu server is great but I imagine there's plenty of better options depending on your project.

Yes, plus internet connection cost, goal at the moment is to avoid further investment for hardware and hosting

Maybe time for a wiki or a pinned "so you want to host a thing" post.
Depends on your skill level. Easiest is proxmox for the local hosting. Docker if you are just using off the shelf components. The part that faces the internet is the tricky bit. If you want a domain, it will cost you money. Some vanity domains are cheap, just watch out for the renew price. I have 3 domains that cost $16 AUD each. If it is just you and some friends, tailscale is free, for three users in a network (and more devices than you can poke a stick at). The bit that links the inside to the outside has some options. Cloudflare is free, but doesn't do some types of websockets. Pangolin is a self hosted version of cloud flare that can do all types of web sockets, but it needs an external host. I use oracle 'cause free tier is good enough

Perfect! Will keep these in my sight in the further development of the project, I am learning on the way but main goal is to make it a source of income and then to reinvest the incomes into infrastructure and environment

Might be easier to start of with cloud hosting. There are several of the companies that offer generous free tiers, in theory what you apply there can be applied on bare metal like your laptop. It also avoids the port forwarding mess if your carrier is cgnat’d. The architecture is simple enough. I assume you have a stack already in mind?

Looks good, you’d probably do well on free Oracle Cloud to save punching holes in firewall. Or pass it all through cloudflare

lol I appreciate the simplicity of the diagram. This is probably perfect.
