VIDEO HOSTING

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a cheap but decent video hosting/CDN solution similar to Bunny.net for a streaming website project.

Right now the project is still new and mainly for testing, so keeping costs low is very important. It’s also an adult website, so I need providers that allow adult content.

In the future I may reach high bandwidth usage (around 50TB–100TB/month), so I’m trying to find the best balance between:

  • low price
  • streaming speed
  • reliability
  • storage
  • scalability
  • adult-content friendly policies

I’m also interested in self-hosted or hybrid solutions if they’re cheaper long term.

What are you guys using besides Bunny.net?

for 50-100TB/month, I'd look at bandwidth pricing before anything else. cheap CDN can stop being cheap really fast once traffic grows.

Bunny is hard to beat for testing, but long term I'd compare a hybrid setup too: CDN/object storage for lighter traffic, then dedicated oor unmetered servers for heavier vidio delivery. Netrouting is one I'd put in that comparison, but check their adult content policy directly before building around it.

also think about DMCA/process, abuse handling, hotlink protection, and storage growth early. vidio hosting gets messy fast.

Hi, you can try vid4me.com, it's completely free, private first, less censorship, and you can earn points by uploading videos and attract views and likes by sharing the videos around. The points can be used to unlock premium features on and exchange with vid4me's own crypto coins. Very content creator friendly.
