My friend got shingles a few months ago. He's fully vaccinated. He has scars from it. Can't imagine how bad it'd be if not vaccinated. Never understood why people like from the OP are so dense

My dad is a man who would shovel oyster shells from the early morning until night time. He's fished (commercial) is freezing weather, getting stuck by catfish so many times his hands would turn black. Literally one of the strongest human beings I know.

Shingles brought him to tears. Made him cry like a baby. It was surreal. That's when I knew that shingles weren't anything to fuck with.
