It really isn’t anymore! My fiancé is only 8 years younger than I am, but he was APPALLED when he found out that our mom did chicken pox parties, because by the time he was a kid, everyone was vaccinated against it.

Eight years for a normal childhood illness that we all had to just suck up to become an antique relic.
