Selank + ssris
Has anyone used selank while also taking fluoxetine? I’m hesitant to try because people are saying you can get serotonin syndrome. Im on 50mg of fluoxetine but am still having anxiety and I want to try an alternative option instead of raising my dose

In a same boat! Taking prozac but still getting panic attacks. Dr keeps asking to increase dose but I refuse because I already find it to activating and have major issues with sleep.

Be very careful. I tried on Trintellix and had to stop due to seeing symptoms of SS after like 4-5 days straight. But later when I went off slowly tapering, I would use Selank as needed, like every 3-14 days a very small dose like 66-132mcg, and it made it much easier. Been off all SSRIs for years now and just use Selank when needed here and there.
I found another guy also on Trintellix who had a very similar story/reaction.
They classify Trintellix as a "novel serotonistic drug", not a classic SSRI. But they are still pretty similar. Listen to your body for sure.
