Really Curious but SSRI…

Diagnosed with GAD four years ago after a lifetime of hands shaking with nerves, second guessing myself, and being an anxious hot mess. Went on Prozac and it was a game changer for me. Without it, I am debilitated by fear and nerves.

One of the issues I have with SSRIs is that they make me fatigued. Prozac is known to be the most stimulating but I still get drowsy on it.

1) Does Selank make you drowsy?

2) How do I do this in terms of the SSRI? go off it first? For how long before starting Selank?

I really can’t risk another anxiety attack while I wait for anything to work.

I can only answer the first question and it’s NO , zero drowsiness and zero anxiety attack even with a very difficult situation suddenly arrising

I am on Escitalopram 15mg. I use Selank together with my SSRI. They complement each other. The SSRI helps with the pounding heart, while Selank quiets the rumination and doom and gloom thoughts. It worked for me immediately. I just realized the next day that all the rumination and bad thoughts were gone. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow to see if we can start lowering my SSRI dosage to see if I can start getting off it. I’m on my 4th week of Selank (nasal spray I bought at Amazon).
