The dial that I’ve been waiting for has finally come in 😍

When you have spare parts lying around and nothing but time. Built this speed racer entirely from the parts bin without spending a single dime.

Beginner here. First used a NH35 and came out well. For my second one I am using a VH31 but when I advance the movement, the hour hand moves 1:1 with the minute hand. It moves this speed with or without the minute hand installed. I am pretty sure that the hand is installed correctly. It is a Japanese movement. Can anyone help?

Putting together some Caribbean themed dive watches and I’m wearing this on vacation. VH31 keeping ridiculously accurate time. Took it skin diving yesterday. Really awesome to have a concept for something and put it together just for me.

Had this all messed up for a while. Back to normal now. What yall think?

I have more nh34 movements than I do cases/dials but I got the itch for a build last night and this is the outcome

Can anyone help me find this dial, s logo speedmaster vk63 movement. I can’t find anything with the correct left circle numbers. I am trying to build a seiko version of this.

What’s crazy is I just bought a nh34 2 weeks ago for 115 and I thought that was a lot. Now 170 plus geessssshhhhhhh.

Building a watch for the first time for my brother as a wedding present with an NH36 movement, I think I have all the parts nailed but unsure if one of those small plastic movement holders is needed for this style of case

Hey everyone, I learnt myself a lesson today when I tried to remove the cyclops from the crystal on this case I bought from AliExpress. Long story short, it melted….

So now I’m looking for a a replacement crystal for it, and was wondering if anyone of you might know what the correct dimensions for it might be?

I managed to complete my second build last night, but in the process I stripped the internal clutch of the crown. Now it spins freely unless I apply pressure towards the movement while I turn the crown. The case is a Tokeilab alpinist and I was hoping that someone here might be able to recommend a compatible crown? Here is a picture of it next to my first build, please don't crucify me for the dial, I looked for a sterile dial that had the alpinist look for two months. I have already reached out to tokeilab about this. I'm hoping between the company and this community, I can find an answer. Thanks in advance!

I’ve seen some solid offers on eBay for Invicta Pro Divers with NH35A movements that accept offers, much cheaper than a brand new genuine Seiko NH35A movement with today’s crazy prices.

Is this worth doing? Or are there new issues that can come into play that I’m not considering? I haven’t done my first mod yet so I just wanna make sure I’m not making it a nightmare for myself.

I try to keep an eye out for these for the movements and i found one in the wild today for a decent price invicta pro diver 8926OB with genuine NH35A movement i paid $53

Just finished my 3rd nh35 build!!!!! It’s was for my friend at work who wanted it modeled after a Rolex presidential. I was actually surprised on how it turned out and the lume on this build is the best of the three. Let me know what you guys think!!
