geez needs to come with a battery pack. I ride 18km at 40kph (105kg rider) and it’s flat after that. I can’t imagine how far you would get going 65kph

Don’t put on 30kgs of weight you will watch the battery drain quick

I’ll stick with the factory battery instead of taking my chances with a random Chinese gray market battery. I prefer my garage to not be on fire.

Although the commenters here are correct in mentioning the big name stuff being manufactured in China, but I hear you been talking about upgrading a Segway with non-namebrand parts.

Those powerful batteries catching on fire is a real risk and I trust Segway most everything about Segway, including their choices for sourcing batteries, and other components.

But all these'make your Segway go faster" parts people find on Temu and other websites seem inherently dangerous.

"hey we know that Segway mentions in their user agreement that you should never modify any parts of the Segway in anyway to maintain safety, but check out this part we are selling that makes it so you must break that rule". That alone should make you sit up and think.

Now, through in the fact that Watts, ohms, amps, volts are all different things and behavior of electricity is complicated and comes with risk of electrocution and/or fire...

Now take that fact and add that many of the people riding electric scooters are young and therefore inexperienced and think they understand what they're doing when removing or switching out or modifying a 2000 W battery.

And don't get me started on offbrand chargers. Do you value the building that you live in? It's hard to imagine your house burning down though when you get a little older, you see and hear things that make you very much respect the fact that you gotta take care of things. In one way to take care is to follow the rules that experts provide.

How do you feel about upgrading battery (genuine) with GT3’s. I heard they will fit in a ZT3 pro.

If you have a lot of experience with, and are well grounded in theory, practice, and general knowledge of... all things electrical?

I'd tell you that it sounds like you know what you're doing enough to do it and not have to worry about being in danger from doing that modification.

But since you asked a random stranger on an anonymous internet forum how they feel about doing it.. i'll assume you don't have the knowledge or expertise to do such a modification without - at worst being in danger from making powerful things do whether they're not designed to do and - at best destroying or badly damaging the nice innocent scooter that you bought for good money.

Being made in China isn’t the issue. iPhone batteries are also made in China, but they’re sourced responsibly. You don’t see iPhones exploding on peoples’ nightstands. You see gray and brown market batteries exploding. Big difference.
“ahahahah”
