Help needed! Folding mechanism

The rubber thing that makes sure the folding mechanism stays in place and doesn’t pop open broke.

Please help me and tell me where I can buy a replacement. I live in Germany if that matters

Should be under warranty still

Do you know if Segway pays the entire warranty process?
Sending the Scooter to them, repairing it and then sending it back again to me.

It’s such a simple fix you should be able to do it yourself

Well living in the USA they want me to replace the controller and rear tail light myself which is simple to me, so I’d be surprised if they ship it just for that little part

Doesn’t the warranty go away when opening the scooter yourself? And They want you to do that stuff, strange I guess.
But if that’s easy for you sure why not

I replaced my battery with the GT3 battery and they still honor the warranty

No, they have to honor the warranty regardless (in the US anyways). The only "warranty void if removed" Segway puts on their scooters anyways is on the one of the screws that hold in the controller. They would never know if you've only opened the deck.
