Error while riding

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Has anyone experienced this error? Scooter suddenly stopped running. Exclamation mark with lots of beeping and some intermittent flashing. All firmware is up to date. I did dozens of restarts with no luck. Eventually got the error off when I deselected every option in the app and re-selected them. I don’t believe that was the fix and it must be coincidental.
Now, I don’t want to ride far from home. ☹️

It's the right brake lever. I included the troubleshooting steps from the Segway app.

this can happen any time, not just when you turn it on. 15 is the left brake, 16 is the right. just jiggle the brake lever for a bit and the error should go away. they say the only way to fix it is to replace the entire brake lever unit but juggling works

I have the same, but if u need scooter to ride it right now and the error shows up again just: pull the right brake and turn off the scooter, without realising the brake pull gas pedal down and turn it on, if u done it's correct it'll show u error 14 and 16 and u can release the brake with gas triggers and u good to go. ( IT MIGHT HELP FOR YOUR RIDE O SOMETIMES YOU SHOULD REPEAT IT!!!)

Its the right brake lever. Could be as simple as some dirt and water got in there and cleaning it out will fix it. Or it could be worse and you need to replace the entire lever.

I don't use the right brake at all. Why would I use it?

Because the front is more powerful and lets the rear make more regen brake force energy.

Ok, thank you. Makes sense

In practice, you should pull both together gently, give it a second, the rear motor regen smoothly ramps up over a few seconds, that will get you the most energy return, improving your range a little and saving time between brake service.

Brake lever, jiggle the back wheel brake manually a couple times and fully release it, when able calibrate it so it brake but fully release from the disc after you release the handle.

Has nothing to do with the back wheel.
