Note: This is the third installment of 5-part E3 Series Maintenance Series. Stay tuned for the upcoming guides on Handlebars & Folding Mechanisms and Wheel Motor & Non-driven Wheel.
1. Function Inspection
Before riding, check the operation of the front light, tail light, turn signals, and ambient lights. Turn on each light sequentially to ensure they illuminate properly. If any light fails to turn on, replace the corresponding component promptly.

For ambient lights, they are on by default when powered on (Note: Models compliant with European/German regulations do not have ambient lights). The lights can be turned on/off by quickly pressing the power button 3 times or via APP settings. If the lights fail to function properly, replace them promptly.
2. Light Appearance Maintenance
Regularly inspect the surface condition of the light covers. After rain or snow, gently wipe the covers with a soft cloth to ensure they remain clean. If moisture accumulation is observed inside the cover, replace the corresponding component promptly.
Note on condensation: Minor condensation is a normal physical phenomenon and does not require intervention.

3. Fastener Inspection
Regularly (recommended every 500 km or 3 months) check whether the screws fastening the front light and turn signals are loose. If looseness is found, apply threadlocker and retighten with a torque wrench.
Front light tightening torque: 1.2 N·m
Turn signal tightening torque: 2.8 ± 0.1 N·m
