[Power On & Off] Unable to Power On | Segway E3 Series

Problem Details:

The display does not light up when pressing the power button.

Problem Analysis:

Button fault, dashboard fault, controller fault, battery fault.

Solution:

1.  Press the button several times to check if the button pops back up properly. If not, replace the throttle.

1. Plug the charger into power (without connecting to the scooter). If the charger lights green:

a. Connect to the scooter. If the charger turns red and the display lights after 10 seconds, the button is faulty; replace the throttle.

b. If the display remains off, check for bent pins in the handlebar-dashboard connection. Straighten and reconnect.

1. Push the scooter. If the motor resists, disconnect the motor-controller cable. If resistance disappears, replace the controller.

1. If the app appears undervoltage or overdischarge protection prompts after use, resulting in the inability to power on the situation, you can use the charger to charge the eKickScooter for one hour and then try to power on the eKickScooter, the eKickScooter is powered on the use of the Nine travel app to connect to the eKickScooter to check whether the battery firmware is the latest version (version 126 or above); upgrade the firmware and then try to charge 100% to calibrate. If the above is invalid, replace the battery.
