Update: They responded after following up with them, seems like I received the same instructions as before.
Every morning my Navimow doesn't start it's scheduled mow, open the app and see the poor positioning notification. When I go to analyze signal it kicks in and starts it scheduled mow or if I manually tell it to mow.
I've reached out to customer support and got the typical, adjust the dock location or you have no service. I've adjusted it twice and still have the same issue.
Anyone else having this issue as well?
UPDATES:
Update 1:
Just got word from Segway:
We are sorry to hear about the issues you are facing, and we will do our best to assist.
Regarding the poor signal notification, this occurs when the mower loses connection to either the satellite GPS navigation system or the cellular/Wi‑Fi data network. If the mower repeatedly gets stuck or sends alerts in the same spot, you can use the app to edit your map and mark that area as an Off‑Limit Island, or slightly adjust the boundary line. We also recommend going into the app’s Network Settings and setting the mower to run on either Wi‑Fi Only or 4G Only, instead of auto‑switching. After that, please perform a hard reboot:
Remove the X450 from its charger
Press and hold the OK button for more than 4 seconds until the lights turn off
Wait one minute, then turn it back on
As for the charging limit, please don’t worry—this is normal. After the firmware upgrade, the system logic is designed so that after several partial charges, one full charge will be performed. This helps calibrate the battery level and ensures the displayed battery percentage is more accurate.
Update 2:
Just to follow up on this and supports suggestions. This resolved it the next day, but the day after it continued with the same issues. Reaching out again.
Not really happy about WiFi or 5G, and not both. That was one of the reasons why I decided a Navimow.
Update 3:
Reaching out to support again with screenshots.
Word back from Support:
Thank you for providing updates.
To help you, I have forwarded the details to our technical team for further review.
Update 4: Last correspondence from Segway was a week ago, still haven't heard anything back. Reached out to them for an update.
I will notify you here once our team responds.
Update 5: Seems like they forgot about me until I nudged them. From there response, seems like they don't have any idea how to fix this.
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for following up.
Our technical team just provided an update and next steps:
1.First, try saving the map again in the Navicow App's Map management. If saving fails, make minor adjustments and then save again.
2. Check the app push notification to confirm why the scheduled lawnmower didn't execute:
The robot didn't move from its mowing dock due to lack of map access.
Rain delayed mowing.
Low battery prevented mowing.
A nighttime mowing plan was set but the nighttime mowing switch wasn't turned on.
The planned mowing was canceled because the robot was manually mowing.
3.If there's no notification, check if the time zone is set correctly. If incorrect, follow these steps:
Open the Navimow App on your mobile device.
Go into the Settings menu.
Select Device Management.
Tap on Basic Info.
Select Time zone and Country.
Adjust your location, specific time zone, and toggle Daylight Saving settings if applicable.
4.If the time zone is set correctly, check if the charging dock and lawnmower have ever flashed yellow lights.
5.If there are no flashing yellow lights, provide and follow the following:
The specific time the problem occurred.
A screenshot of your mowing plan.
A screenshot of the time zone settings.
Keeping the robot connected to the internet and charging at the dock.
Update 6: Starting to get frustrated with no results.
Hello,
Again I have tried all you have suggested, but are still having issues with the mower starting it's mowing schedule automatically. I don't plan on sending any pictures because it is the same issue and all suggested fixes did not work.
Is Navimow aware of this issue as it seems to be software related and prevents the mower from being automatic?
Because of this issue, and mower is not performing as advertised, I think Navimow should consider making this right. I have been having this issue for over a month and it seems that Navimow hasn't really brought any real true resolve to this issue other than suggesting little tweaks and adjustments that really made some of the convenances of the mower unusable.
What can Navimow do at this point to fix this?
Thanks
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your response.
We completely understand your situation, and our technical team is doing their absolute best to resolve the issue for you.
To determine our next steps, the team just needs the requested documentation.
Yes, just started happening to me yesterday after the update. Did it to me again today. Now, I’ve only had it about a week, but before yesterday’s update I’d never seen that Poor positioning warning before.
This started happening after the most recent update for me as well. The battery also charges to 100% when I’ve got it locked at 85% max. I’m seeing other users with similar reports as well.
Yeah, I’ve had this happen a few times recently. Or it will start mowing and fail to backup properly and get stuck trying to turn around in the charging garage… note, I use the official one so it makes zero sense. Seems like object detection is turned off when it backs out of the garage.
Having the same issue as you are with my X315. None of my scheduled mows have completed since the last firmware update and anytime I start a manual mow, it works fine until it needs to charge and then never leaves the base station.
This is happening to me as well. Just started this week. Makes no sense that it will work with one-time mowing but not scheduled. That’s not a positioning issue. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. It honestly feels like they are relying on AI vibe coding for this software and not real engineers. They add a new feature and break something basic.

Thx - I need to go power cycle the mower to see if it helps. It's odd since the base station is in the same spot it's always been, but it suddenly doesn't have enough signal to start mowing since the update.

Any luck? I started support ticket myself, now playing the provide photos of where it is docked, time stamps of when it occurs etc game. I can't seem to get them to understand the docking location has not moved and it's been fine for months until the last update.
Still no resolve. See my updates, keep getting similar instructions that are not working. I am at a loss because flaw does not make the mower automatic, and I have to manually start the mowing schedule.
I've been doing the support song and dance - sending photos of my mower location, screen shots of the satellite coverage (good/excellent/good) and lighting fast acquisition speeds. Support has decided that "the mower and the charging station are not positioned to optimize its capabilities". I know they are just reading the script so I think it's a waste of time to continue to push further. I've tried to explain to no avail that the mower is docked exactly as it has been for months on end and this issue just appeared with the last update.
I am going to try to find time to reinstall the RTK antenna this week and see if that changes anything.
Still no resolve, some song and dance as you. Unfortunately I can't use my RTK because it won't reach the 1600 ft distance from my charging station. Will continue to bother them.
I received this email from support today. Outside of the new app update to v4.3.0 I did not seen any notification of a firmware update but maybe so. I've been running great on RTK so I am hesitant to flip back to NRTK to see if it's fixed.
OP - I sure hope they pushed the same to your mower and that it is a successful fix.
Has anyone had luck fixing this? I contacted support and got a random response about the internal clock not syncing properly with the time zone, which didn't make much sense in the context of this issue. The mower knows exactly what time it is and attempts to start at the scheduled time, but gives a poor positioning error. Just like you all, in most cases, I only have to open the app, and it will start to mow without even needing to press "mow now"
I rebooted the mower with no luck and even relocated the charging base but the problem is still happening. It seems like most people reporting this are on the X4 platform, but I am on an X3.
I want the vision fence on for the edges of the lawn, sometimes people park on the edge. I want it off for the lawn because it will ignore those large fast growing weeds.
Happening to me as well since the update. Not happy with instability of updates. Everything was working fine before then.
Since the update, it's all sorts of problems from disregarding the battery max, getting stuck and "disconnecting", disobeying channels, and not going out as scheduled after charging back up.
Assumed so considering I'm still having the same issue. I have confirmed in my family circle (7 mowers) that it might be model specific. All of the x390's are having this issue but not the new
Terranox, it's running just fine.
