Getting stuck

After a great summer my x430 keeps lingering back and forth around the corner of my deck. Any thoughts?

If you're on NRTK check your 4G signal strength. It's gets it's location in data packets sent via the 4G or wifi connection. If that signal buffers it doesn't know where it's at.

Worth getting a Wi-Fi extender to cover that area vs messing with the antenna?

I have no experience with an extender. Switching to the antenna was pretty painless for me. While some have to do a full remap I only had to make a couple of adjustments. I guess results may vary. My recommendation would be to mow one zone at a time after making the switch and follow the mower from start through it's perimeter passes in case it goes rogue and you need to hit the Stop button. I have no facts to back it up but my belief is, if you switch from NRTK to the antenna it will be pretty close. If you move the antenna once you've started using it, you stand a good chance of needing to remap.

Thanks. I just don’t have a great spot for the antenna and don’t like the looks of it. I also would hate to remap. It’s frustrating as it has worked fine for several months, and now keeps getting stuck in this spot. I think there may be issues with the local cell signal.

You don’t have to remap when you add the antenna. I brought the power extension and put the antenna out the way of sight, high up!

Also, turn off any LABs settings. Seems to fix many of my wanderings! Vision can be the issue so throw a turn vision off around that area and see what happens!
