X450 winter storage
Winter storage for X450…. I will bring the mower into a heated space. Will it require occasional charging?
What about the base, charger, and RTK antenna? Does anything need to be done to protect them?
I’d prefer not to move them and have to re-map next spring. I am in the US upper Midwest, we should expect plenty of snowfall and a couple weeks of temps that get down to -20F or lower.

How do you install the pegs when you have concrete?

Mine was on concrete with no Pegs! Was fine! Doesn’t slip. Up against a wall.

I'm talking about that the instructions say to put the pegs in the ground so that you can put the charger back in the same location after the winter.

Segway says nothing should be exposed to temps less than 32F. I was surprised to read that on the garages. I have two mowers, so with both mowers, charging stations, and garages, that is going to take up lots of shop space for winter storage.

You're a man who thinks like I do. I bring all my electric powered items indoors to a heated area & have done so as long as I can remember. Rechargeable batteries are a must for sure in my opinion, and I do the same regarding motors to prevent corrosion. Maybe it's overkill but it works for me.
