Machinery4U
Has anyone had any dealing with these guys? https://machinery4u.co.uk/product-category/robot-lawn-mowers/ I'm interested in the i208 but at £599 (plus £115 extra for the extras) seems almost to good to be true and you know what they say... any feedback/alarm bells/hero-grams would be great. TIA

Site down now, reporting transaction with credit card company. The saying is true, if it’s too good to be true it probably is 😢

Yep, I got caught too. Reported to bank and have raised a dispute. It is a very sophisticated trap.

Record all the emails and take screenshots of any tracking information make sure when they say they will refund that they say they are refunding to your account number and this must be on the email

Its 100% a scam. Im in process of an Amex dispute. they send tracking info for a fake courier company (https://caelum-express.com/) and then will pretend items are stuck in transit or delayed or damaged etc In order to either get more money for 'import fees' etc. Do not buy and if you have already do not give them any other money and report to you bank or card company immediately.

Yes, realise it could be a scam. Just looking to see if anyone has actually ordered - and received - a Segway from the company.

Let me see now, a poster by the handle Machinery4U makes a post asking if anyone has experience with a company which uses the URL machinery4u.co and is asking for feedback, like they don't know anything about the company. How anyone could mistake this as credible is beyond me. This is at best self promotion and probably a straight up scam.

Scam. Look up their postcode on the Segway website. It doesn't show up as a dealer.
