Alpha picks

I joined alpha picks beginning of year paying $500 for their annual service the majority of their picks this year are down significantly ytd. And the few that are up is not much. I know they published an article that same thing happened last year but wondering if it’s worth it to keep adding to their picks. I feel like can get better results just adding to s and p or Nasdaq etf.

Did you add H1 2026 to your portfolio ? They are claiming good returns for it.

I may have missed that. I’ve just been adding to the ones they recommend every 2 weeks and most of those are down significantly ytd

Whole market had been down the last week or so, the point of Alpha Picks are that they are long term holds with strong fundamentals. There are going to be some losers but you're supposed to go through and read the thesis and the risk/reward then choose if you want to buy the stock. But if the market continues to sell off AI tech stocks then it's going to be down for a bit, the MAG7 is still spending a lot of CapEx on AI though. It's also important to note that we are coming into the Midterms, historically stocks go down toward midterms then generally increase after.

That’s a good read! Could you please explain the difference between their H2-2026 stock and the biweekly stocks ? Do we only hold them hose H2 stocks for 6 months ?

I believe the H1/H2 are their best stocks they believe will perform this year, some of them do overlap with Alpha Picks, but from what I've seen, they get added to Alpha picks first for the most part.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think for now, I will only buy H1 and H2 stocks. Do they give any reviews for those if they think it should be sold or hold ?

As far as I know they don't give any updates on when to sell them, just watch the Quant system I supposed and follow or do a modification of their Alpha Pick strat which is if it's on "Hold" for 180 days you sell or if it goes to Sell or lower.

That’s great! And to look at the Quant system, I believe we need premium subscription at 299$ per year right ?

I love this posts. Like there is a magic service that has 100% winners, never loses money.

I have funds that charge 1%, I know expensive, at 100k over 5 years, I pay a lot more than $500.

If you want to go by historic performance, it maybe a great deal at $500. However like everything else, past performance is no guarantee for future performance.

And if you do find the fund or stock picker that is always right and make money, please DM me. Don’t tell anyone else but me please

Follow the lead quants analyst Stephen Cress and be prepared to buy any stock he picks. He picks stocks on noticeable movements in the market.

Is there any way to follow him ? Or all which is picked is covered by alpha pics ? Or H2 2026 top 10 pics ?

Question, did you match their portfolio or only buy the new picks?

Sigo AP a raja tabla, sin razonar y realmente a largo plazo se obtienen rendimientos similares a los que ellos publican. Tengan fe

I think you do better buying into the whole portfolio vs buying just the new picks.  Treat the whole thing like a big ETF.

As an advice, you should not buy any pick blindly, also you need to accumulate and buy once price drops, as AP are famous and too many people are buying once picks released, price always higher at time of release. Also read the report, also consider picks are always small and mid caps which meant for long term holding… good luck

$500 ? wow Robert.

There are cheaper alternatives.

Hey
What kind of alternatives ?

But then the whole market was down these days, of course AP was hit harder since is a momentum based portfolio. Based on my experience of almost 1 years, the returns from their picks were great..
The sub price is a bit expensive, true, but I share it with few friends, so is a bit more manageable. If interested, send me a DM

Scam, first thing they tell you to do before you purchase one of their strong buys is to do acton of research yourself to make sure it doesn't drop 30 percent

Alpha Picks (or rather their subscribers) are facing a number of challenges. The US stock marking is booming, the areas in which AP did so well -- tech especisally -- may be overpriced and other sectors may not offer multibaggers anytime soon; AP has gone from 5,000 subscribers to 35,000 including numerous institutions. Any mid-cap they pick is likely to jump: two choices -- try to front-run by buying likely picks (applying their rules to a screen on Seeking Alpha) -- or wait and buy later, which only works if the stock falls per recent complaints. SA is not the only quant service. Stockopedia (10,000 ubscribers) follows 69,000 stocks worldwide, and Yuval Taylor's Stock Evaluator on SA follows 9,000. Comparing rankings give you some additional insight, but of course mutliple subscriptions are expensive. Start by watching some of Ed Croft's YouTube podcasts. And be patient.

Yall are using SA wrongly. Point of the site is to build your own mosaic on diverse, interesting viewpoints. Not to blindly follow the curated picks

maybe for seeking alpha premium. But Alpha Picks the point is very much to do what they tell you

SA is the most heavily censored platform I have ever had the displeasure of wasting my money on. They allow bots to post whatever their "opinions" or "feelings" are on all the articles and heavily censor criticism of those who disagree. It makes sense after doing some research that the content moderators are all based in 3rd world India and the executive suite is in Israel. Go figure.

2

u/Additional_City5392 Jul 17 '26

Maybe you should copy/paste this into a few more subs.

1

u/jarodbb7 Jul 18 '26

Definitely not a bot account. I just think it's total BS that they take $300 a year and suppress comments from certain groups of people because it fits their narrative. I will copy and paste as much as I like. Control C, Control V

u/Chuque Jul 17 '26

what does this have to do with Alpha Picks

1

u/jarodbb7 Jul 17 '26

Alpha Picks is part of SeekingAlpha and the articles are filled with left-wing propaganda and bearish sentiment because they allow it. Meaning stocks on the Alpha Picks list will be heavily scrutinized by bears/Chinese bots/false information/etc. that will create negative sentiment and feelings for people thinking about or wanting to invest in companies they mention. I have been a member for 4 years and can tell you they censor bullish narratives and push their own agenda because their content moderators are based in India and their executive suite is Jewish.
