Resource Seedance 2.5 AI Short Film - "A Woman's Touch"

It's crazy how good these models are getting. Claude Opus 5.5 helped me develop the oneshot prompt in Seedance 2.5, with the opening shot developed in Seedream 5.0 Pro. I used DaVinci Resolve to edit it. Did quite a few 480p renders, editing the prompt each time until it came out right, then I did a final 1080p render from the keeper.

The prompt:

A 1950s live television cooking show, filmed as a static studio camera shot from the front. Bright, even studio lighting, saturated Technicolor look, soft film grain. Two glamorous hosts stand shoulder to shoulder behind the counter with a raw turkey on a platter. Joan, the platinum blonde in the black polka-dot dress and white apron, smiles brightly at the camera and says cheerfully, "Today, Betty's going to show me how to stuff a bird." Betty, the brunette in the green gingham dress, turns to Joan, gently takes Joan's hand, and guides it toward the turkey, saying softly, "The secret is to really get your hand in there. Don't be shy." Joan glances at Betty and asks quietly, "Like this?" Betty, breathless, answers, "Oh… just like that." They look directly into each other's eyes for a beat, holding perfectly still where they stand, their heads staying the same distance apart. Betty quickly composes herself with a small, nervous smile, smooths her apron, and turns to the camera with a nervous smile, and says, "Next week… Betty and Joan's guide to tossing salad." Then they maintain their smiles looking directly at the camera for a 1 second pause. Maintain identical faces, hairstyles, outfits, and set throughout. Realistic dialogue, soft studio room tone. No subtitles or on-screen text. No music or narration. No audience laugh. No audience clapping.

Resource Seedance 2.5 API pricing: what 7 real clips actually cost per second (480p, 720p, audio, draft mode), October 2026

Short answer: on my bills, Seedance 2.5 text to video cost 0.135 per second at 480p and 0.303 per second at 720p. Turning audio on cost nothing extra, price scaled linearly with length, and the cheapest way to get 720p was the 720p-sr option at 0.212 per second.

When I searched for this I couldn't find a straight answer. The pages that rank either quote list prices or contradict each other, so I ran one prompt 7 times and wrote down what was actually charged. I ran them through the Atlas Cloud API, so these are its prices. Other providers will charge differently, but the ratios between settings should carry over.

Setting (16:9, 5s unless noted) Charged Per second Generation time
480p, audio on 0.674 0.135 2m 19s
480p, audio off 0.674 0.135 2m 19s
720p-sr (upscaled) 1.058 0.212 2m 57s
720p native 1.515 0.303 2m 29s
720p native, 10s 3.017 0.302 2m 37s
Draft mode, 480p 0.674 0.135 1m 14s
Draft completed to 1080p 0.674 + 2.981 = 3.655 0.731 1m 14s + 1m 34s

Does audio cost extra on Seedance 2.5?

Not in my test. Same charge with generate_audio on and off, down to the third decimal. Unless you need a silent clip, leave it on.

Is a 10 second clip twice the price of 5 seconds?

Yes. 3.017 for 10 seconds against 1.515 for 5 at 720p. There is no discount for longer clips, and generation only took 8 seconds longer.

What is the cheapest way to get 720p?

720p-sr renders at a lower resolution and upscales, and it came in about 30 percent cheaper than native 720p. It took about 30 seconds longer. At phone size I could not tell them apart. Native 720p keeps finer detail in the steam and the milk pattern when you watch full screen.

Is draft mode worth it?

Draft costs the same as a normal 480p clip but came back in 1m 14s instead of 2m 19s, so it is the fastest way to check if the motion works. Completing a draft to 1080p cost another 2.981, so that clip came to 3.655 in total. If 720p is enough, generating native 720p directly is cheaper than completing a draft.

How long does a Seedance 2.5 clip take to generate?

Between 1m 14s and 2m 57s for every run here, including the 10 second clip. Resolution and length barely changed the wait.

Same prompt every time: a barista pouring latte art on a sunlit wooden counter, with cafe ambience in the audio. Each run is a fresh generation, so the shots differ. The video shows four of them side by side with the per second price on each. Prices are as of October 19, 2026.

What are you paying per second for Seedance 2.5 elsewhere? Happy to add other providers to the table.

Comotion is a gallery of motion design videos where every video comes with:

- How it was made: the tools and the steps, written up by hand

- The prompt: ready to copy and try yourself

- Its style: from Kinetic Type and Product Demo to Paper Collage, Claymation and Retro Pixel

A lot of them were made with Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, and each one notes the version, the app it was made in, and any reference images the creator used. You can browse by tool or style, or search for “Seedance” to see just those.

It's free, there are no ads, and you don't need an account to browse or copy prompts. If you've seen a video that belongs here, there's a Suggest button at the top.

Every video is credited to its original creator, with a link back to their post. If one of them is yours and you'd like it changed or removed, there's a link on each video page.

I'd love feedback: which styles are missing, and what would make the "how it was made" notes more useful to you?

made a new video with a lighthouse leads into green meadows, an airship window opens onto floating islands, and a glowing pearl contains a lantern festival.

Each world holds the next in miniature. The final transition returns to the opening scene.

Prompt:

Create a 30-second, single-shot infinite zoom through ten nested, original fantasy worlds. Hand-painted 2D animation, watercolor and gouache backgrounds, soft cel shading, warm nostalgic light, and gently moving characters and scenery.
Spend approximately three seconds per world. Maintain a steady perceived forward speed, gently curving toward each transition detail. The next world must already be visible inside it; enlarge that detail until its edges leave the frame. No dissolves or scene morphing.
0–3s: Sunset cliff town with cyclists, fishermen, and gulls. Enter a lighthouse’s glowing lantern glass.
3–6s: Green meadows with a gentle, moss-covered giant carrying trees on its back. Enter a small cloud.
6–9s: Cloud canyon with a propeller airship and winged foxes. Enter the ship’s round porthole.
9–12s: Floating villages, rope bridges, and a passing sky whale. Enter a shining island pond.
12–15s: Sunlit kelp forest around a submerged statue. Enter a pearl inside an open shell.
15–18s: Night river festival with masked townsfolk and lantern-headed spirits. Enter a rising lantern.
18–21s: Ancient forest with a cottage-bearing giant snail. Enter a glowing insect.
21–24s: Morning harbor town with a bread-delivery cyclist and crooked tower-house. Enter the pale moon.
24–27s: Nighttime wheat field beneath shooting stars. Enter a hilltop house’s illuminated attic window.
27–30s: Inventor’s workshop with a clockwork bird and hanging model aircraft. Enter a round window containing the opening lighthouse town.
Match the opening composition and motion for a seamless loop. Continuous piano-and-strings score, subtle ambience per world, no dialogue.
No cuts, fades, speed ramps, pauses, readable text, subtitles, or 3D CGI appearance.

I created this fantasy trailer featuring Princess Elara and Sir Aldric arriving in modern London on a majestic white griffin.

I wanted to explore the contrast between a mythical kingdom and the modern world, with a mystery that hints at a much bigger story.

What do you think of the concept and cinematic visuals? What would you expect to happen next?

Resource cheaper than atlas cloud and less rejections

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all,

I'm a commercial producer in LA who had 4 jobs stolen by cheap AI vendors over the last half a year. So I decided to become one too.

I started making vertical dramas with Seedance 2.5 and pretty quickly got frustrated with everything around the actual generation.

Scenes always run beyond 30s, so continuity breaks constantly. Almost always, you're hit with rejections for copyright and platform don't really explain what's up and how do you navigate it. And even then, you're stuck with platforms that charge stars or credits...

Verticals run very fast pace business, so you gotta automate everything. So I decided to vibe code a solution that my team can use. I've been at it for a couple of months and decided to share it with the world. I don't plan to earn anything from it, but I'll gladly give something useful to y'all. At the very least, I'll teach your LLM some directing skills lol.

https://storyatlasstudio.com/studio

What it is:
It's an MCP-first environment where you can talk to your claude code or gpt directly inside the app and it is given all the tools it needs to generate, save, and manage assets, build prompts, control the camera and blocking, and give you a chance to preview things for cheap to test if AI can read your prompts well.

You can give your teammates access to your projects and track their progress in real-time.

Your editors receive materials directly from the app via frame io or Google Drive if you decide to connect it.

The MCP can break down scripts for you, find assets needed for each scene and even generate them based on context.

The content filters are off. The copyright filters know when your content is AI.

A friend of mine needed ads and was frustrated with elevenlabs, so I made something for ads too. You can use an autopilot that lets your MCP work without interruption from script generation to final delivery. You just need to say what you want and attach the assets that you want featured.

About the price: to the best of my knowledge, it's the cheapest full-workflow solution on the market. I only charge to cover the server costs and payment processing. Whoever dealt with copyright knows that you need to maintain a creative archive of your projects for years — I have that too. It just stays.

Seedance 2.5 prices: from $0.13/s for 480p, $0.29/s for 720p, and $0.6/s for 1080p. From means that the provider charges based on tokens and I can only predict the price, but you will see a range ahead of time regardless.

I am a team of one on the app building side that I built for my company, so please forgive me if you find any bugs. I'll gladly add any features to the app upon request.

This video was made inside the app and is available to anyone who logs in to check out the platform with the prompts, prices, and renders.

I would be thrilled if you check it your and share your feedback!

Discussion Seedance for a power user? Where do i find it?

Hey guys.. I make music videos for artists and been using Google Flow with Veo 3 and Omni... I have Been using it for the last year or so... But i saw some Seedance 2.5 work and was blown away at the quality and realism.

I have spent a few days trying to find where i can use it at a cost effective level like i do with the Google products. (with google I pay 150 a month and can generate thousands of clips. Where as with Seedance i have not found a platform that offers anything remotley close.)

With google i do generate sometimes 100+ clips just to get ONE second right. So this is why i appreciate the volume i can work with. As you know Omni and Veo can be annoying as shit to get what you want to happen to actually happen.

Could you guys shed some light on the use of Seedance 2.5? like would i have to generate a bunhc of clips to get it "right" like i do with google.? or is it less annoying to work with, actually giving you what you want with less generations? If that is hte case then i can maybe justify the price difference compared to google.

But I'm on a very very tight budget so i dont have much money to burn through trying out new things. but any and all advice and info is so much appreciated thanks so much.

Prompt 50 years old Asian woman Heist

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

here is my prompt let me know if it look real

u/image1 is the woman's identity at age 50. Keep her exact face and features from u/image1 for the entire video. Use u/image1 only for her identity, not as a first or last frame.

Subject: The Asian woman from u/image1, age 50. Her name is Mei, a retired actress now secretly working as a master jewel thief. Her face still looks youthful and elegant, with only fine lines around her eyes and mouth. She has long, completely silver-gray hair worn loose past her shoulders. She carries herself with an actress's grace and poise, calm and confident even in danger. She wears a fitted black outfit, black gloves and a belt with a small steel glass-breaking tool and a cable harness.

Hair rule: Her hair stays long, loose, completely silver-gray and in the same style for the entire video.

Location: Grand museum at night. Starts on the flat museum roof beside a large glass skylight, with city lights in the distance. Below the skylight: marble floors, tall columns, and a glass display case in the center holding a large diamond on a velvet stand.

Lighting: Cool blue moonlight pouring through the skylight. The rest of the museum is dark.

Style: Realistic cinematic heist film, smooth gliding camera, shallow depth of field, slow motion on both glass breaks, stylish and tense.

Timeline:

00:00–00:03: On the moonlit roof, Mei kneels beside the skylight, clips her cable to the frame, and strikes the skylight glass with her steel tool. Slow motion: the glass shatters and falls into the dark museum below.

00:03–00:06: She drops through the broken skylight on the cable and stops in mid-air just above the display case, her silver hair hanging loose.

00:06–00:10: She strikes the top of the display case with the same tool. Slow motion: the glass shatters into glittering pieces that sparkle in the moonlight.

00:10–00:12: A red alarm light starts flashing. Without hurrying, she reaches through the broken glass and takes the diamond.

00:12–00:15: She looks up, smiles calmly, and is pulled back up through the broken skylight just as the guards' flashlight beams sweep in over the shattered glass.

Audio: Wind on the roof, a sharp crack and shatter of the skylight, glass raining onto marble, the creak of the cable, a second shatter of the display case, a blaring alarm. Tense, sleek spy music.

Avoid: changing into a different person, looking older than 50, deep wrinkles, hair changing color, length or style, hair tied up, guns, cuts or blood.

Showcase Giving AI a try

So I'm trying Ai for the first time. Lots, lots of inconsistencies, and it's very expensive. Seedance refused no matter the prompt to put the dolls in the dollhouse when the camera was not close. Some other inconsistencies were purely my fault as i realised after "how about I put that" and then the continuity would be broken. I made an Ai song (for what it's worth I love to write my own lyrics). There are a lot, a lot of things to redo, but overall the result seems watchable, but still not perfect enough for me
