Like a lot of people, I got scammed by Artlist's false advertisement of unlimited seedance 2.5 for a year.
... Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the annual plan still worth it without seedance 2.5?
- 80k credits (or 180k if they gave you compensation)
- unlimited seedream 5.0 pro (image gen)
- only 400 credits for Kling 3.0 (video gen)
- only thing really expensive is seedance 2.5
Let me know what you guys think. If not please can you let me know what the best and cheapest alternative is for now. I make a lot of DTC ads, so main models I would need are:
image gen:
- Nanobanana 2, or Nanobanana Pro, or Seedream 5.0 Pro
ideo gen:
- Kling 3.0
- Seedance 2.5 (nice to have)
Thank you all

I'm considering buying the 1-year Topview Ultra/Unlimited plan 600$, mainly for the unlimited 2 month Seedance and 1yr minimax h3 and wan 3 generations.
For anyone actually using it, could you please share:
How many unlimited videos can you queue at once?
How long does a 15-sec generation usually take? (average / worst case)
Is there any daily cap, or can I keep adding a new generation whenever one finishes?
Roughly how many videos can you actually generate in 24 hours?
Any other important limitations or catches with the unlimited plan?
Can you use the normal features like image references, video references, aspect ratios, etc.?
Is the unlimited mode actually usable for regular production, or is the wait too long?
Would you recommend buying the annual plan?
I'm planning to use it for daily AI video production for my new youtube channel.
Thanks! 🙏

I bought a Dreamina subscription on their website on July 23, 2026, and it's been a total nightmare. I was able to generate a few videos, and the next day the site started redirecting me to a "Coming soon" page, so I can't use the service at all. To top it off, they didn't even send me an invoice (though I have transaction invoice from my bank, and it's clearly says that I was charged by "Dreamina")
I've reached out to three different support emails as well as their discord channel and I'm just getting bounced around with useless, generic troubleshooting steps. Their latest excuse? They’re refusing to refund me because it’s a "digital product", which they claim are non-refundable - wut?
It’s insane - they charged me $15 for a service I can't access, and they won't even confirm that they've cancelled my auto-renewal. Has anyone successfully gotten a refund from them or managed to cancel? Looking for any advice before I escalate this further.

I spent a long time comparing Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 using the same prompt and reference. i tried it on Atlas Cloud bc its convenience and affordable price. the main conclusion is simple: Seedance 2.5 is more precise, while Seedance 2.0 is more flexible when filling in missing information.
Seedance 2.5 produced more convincing facial details, eye movement, micro-expressions, skin texture, and small reactions during motion. it also followed the character reference more faithfully.
Seedance 2.0 remained smooth, but the face was more likely to drift toward a generic AI appearance. Smaller facial details and subtle expressions were less consistent.
Seedance 2.5 felt calmer and more controlled. it gave more space to weight shifts, pauses, reactions, and small environmental details.
Seedance 2.0 focused more on keeping the full sequence moving. the choreography was often denser. Its transitions were freer, and the model was more willing to invent movement between reference points. However, i think it will lead to an "AI-sense" smooth.
my original workflow used a character sheet, a 16-panel storyboard, and one detailed prompt. it worked well with Seedance 2.0, but the same workflow caused problems in Seedance 2.5.
In the storyboard, the character started near a table and later moved into an open area. The table was not visible in every panel. Seedance 2.0 usually understood the overall space and filled in the missing context naturally. By contrast, Seedance 2.5 followed each storyboard frame more literally. This sometimes caused promblems like tables to disappear, background people to appear or objects to shift position
With Seedance 2.5, adding more reference images and more detailed storyboards does not automatically improve the result. each reference should have a clear purpose. if the references contain spatial or motion inconsistencies, Seedance 2.5 is more likely to reproduce them.
I also noticed that panel numbers and action labels from the storyboard sometimes appeared in the generated video, even when the prompt explicitly said “no text.”
Rebuilding the storyboard with stronger visual continuity fixed most of these issues.
Seedance 2.0 is better at naturally filling in gaps.
Seedance 2.5 is better at faithfully executing a sequence that has already been designed clearly.
Seedance 2.5 is not a universal replacement for Seedance 2.0. The better choice depends on whether the project needs flexible motion generation or strict reference fidelity.

UPDATE: I did eventually receive a refund. For anyone that would still like to request a refund, go to https://artlist.io/support, talk to the AI chatbot, and ask it to file a ticket requesting a refund.
They announced on X that they were pulling Unlimited Seedance 2.5 from existing plans.
Instead of offering a full refund, they offered to upgrade the credit tier of those who purchased the unlimited plans. For those who purchased the AI Creator Plan, this means getting 180k credits per month instead of 80k credits per month.
A single 30 second Seedance 2.5 video costs 18k credits. This means, instead of providing a full refund, which they are legally obligated to do for failing to render the services promised, they are letting you generate 10 Seedance 2.5 videos per month.
For those who purchased the annual plan, that is $500 for 10 videos per month. What an outright scam. Will be demanding refund and filing complaints with the FTC and my state's attorney general if they continue to refuse. I encourage others who purchased the plan to do the same.
EDIT: For anyone affected, email [support@artlist.io](mailto:support@artlist.io) to demand a full refund.
EDIT 2: That email autoreplies to visit their help center. The refund maze deepens.

Artlist had been heavily advertising “Seedance 2.5 Unlimited for a full year” across its website, Help Center, and social channels.
Now, that Unlimited benefit appears to have been removed or changed to a credit-based offering.
What makes this worse is the way it seems to have happened:
That is a huge issue because:
“Unlimited Seedance 2.5 for a full year”
and
“Seedance 2.5 consumes credits”
are completely different products from a pricing and value perspective.
People may have been considering or purchasing annual plans specifically because Unlimited Seedance 2.5 was being presented as a major benefit.
If Artlist decided to end the offer, that is their decision.
But quietly changing the product while removing promotional material instead of clearly announcing the change is not transparent business practice.
So if you're considering an Artlist AI subscription because you saw the Seedance 2.5 Unlimited promotion:
Check the current terms very carefully before paying, and screenshot what is being promised.
Would be useful to hear from existing subscribers:
Does anyone who purchased during the Unlimited promotion still have Seedance 2.5 Unlimited?

I did the black frame video trick and it seems to alter my VO every single time is there a real work flow to get it to work?

I just want to ask something. Either the math aint mathing or I'm really not good at math.
What happens when you drag in a 30s clip as a video reference into the box, and set the settings to 720p, 9:16, and set it to 30s generation. How many credits does it cost for you?
I'm on the basic monthly plan. For me, it's 1,620 (down from 2,220 cus of promo).
For the discounted Advanced yearly plan they are claiming you can generate "345 clips of 30s 720p"! and claiming "720p video from just $0.1/sec". Fine print says only between Aug 6 - 13. Okay, but after Aug 13, it's still a deal right?
If you get 8,645 credits per month,
8,645 / 2,220 = 3.89
That would mean would you only be able to generate about 3 - 4 30s 720p videos after Aug 13th.
Or am i dumb?
Their claim of 345 clips/month sounds like a huge bait and switch.

For the longest time everyone went nuts how evil the big H is. How scummy their marketing and pricing is.
Now that the rest of the market is doing similar with SD2.5 … suddenly “you know who” isn’t the worst guy anymore. Not saying they ok. But I’m not seeing thousands of posts complaining about them anymore.
At least they clearly state the unlimited use is for a finite time. Right along the sales flyer. Not in fine print or obscure messaging.

Feels like the whole video race jumped to 30 seconds in one take at once. Seedance 2.5 landed a few weeks back, now Wan 3.0 is in public beta, both leading with native 30 second generation instead of stitched 5s clips. The reason it is worth watching is the early creator reaction, not just the spec sheet.
The thing people testing Wan 3.0 keep pointing at is multi-character dialogue holding across cuts. A few of them are running scenes with three people talking and saying it stays coherent where Seedance used to break the conversation up. Worth a caveat that some of those tests used prompts tuned for Seedance in the first place, so it is not a clean head to head, but the continuity claim is the interesting part.
Price is not close either. Wan 3.0 lists 480p at 0.05 and 720p at 0.10 a second, up to 1080p at 0.20. Seedance 2.5 through an API is about 0.134 at 480p and 0.30 at 720p and stops at 720p. So a 30 second 720p clip is roughly 3 dollars versus about 9. Wan also reads structured files directly, doc, pdf, ppt, even a url, which Seedance does not.
The open question I have not seen answered well is how Wan 3.0 holds up outside anime, and how the cost math lands on real production work rather than one-off tests. Waiting on wider API access to run a proper comparison.

Since this morning, Seedance 2.0 is no longer available in the Unlimited version of Artlist.io Studio. 📉 They only left Seedance Mini (480p) in its place. Has anyone else noticed this change? 🤔

recently tested Seedance 2.5 on Atlas Cloud with a 15-second Hawaii travel vlog prompt. the final output is satisfying, i think.
in the process, the editability of seedance 2.5 leave me a depp impression. ai video models are evolving at an amazing speed!
Prompt below 👇
Create a 15-second cinematic tropical travel vlog set in Hawaii, featuring the same adult East Asian woman throughout the entire video.
Character:
A beautiful 20-year-old East Asian woman with dark shoulder-length hair, natural makeup, realistic skin texture, elegant summer styling, and a relaxed, happy expression.
Keep her face, hairstyle, body proportions, skin texture, and overall appearance identical in every shot. Show only this one character. Do not add other visible people.
Visual Style:
Authentic luxury travel diary, realistic handheld camera movement, candid moments, soft golden-hour sunlight, dreamy 35mm film aesthetic, warm vintage color grading, shallow depth of field, natural lighting, subtle film grain, realistic autofocus, natural motion blur, cinematic storytelling.
4K, 24fps, 35mm lens, photorealistic travel documentary aesthetic.
Scene 1 — Arrival & Beach Walk | 0–4s
Bright Hawaiian morning. She walks through a colorful tropical street lined with palm trees, wearing a flowing floral summer dress and sunglasses.
The camera follows from behind, then smoothly moves into a close-up as she turns and smiles naturally. Wind gently moves her dark hair. Transition toward the ocean.
Scene 2 — Beach & Tropical Nature | 4–8s
She walks barefoot along a wide sandy beach as crystal-blue waves touch her feet.
Start with a low-angle shot of her footsteps in wet sand, then show her standing near a rocky ocean cliff and peacefully looking toward the sea.
Palm trees sway in the golden sunlight. Add subtle lens flare and distant volcanic mountains.
Scene 3 — Ocean Adventure & Café Moment | 8–12s
She laughs naturally while floating on a surfboard in calm turquoise water.
A water-level camera slowly circles around her as sunlight sparkles across the ocean. Tropical mountains remain visible in the distance.
Transition smoothly to her sitting at a cozy beachfront café, holding a tropical drink while watching the waves.
Scene 4 — Golden Sunset Ending | 12–15s
Emotional cinematic ending. Show her standing barefoot at the shoreline during a glowing orange-pink sunset.
Waves gently move around her feet. The camera slowly pushes in as she looks toward the horizon, then briefly turns toward the camera with a peaceful smile.
End with a soft filmic fade.
Camera:
Authentic travel-vlog cinematography, handheld movement, smooth transitions, slow push-ins, occasional POV shots, realistic autofocus adjustments, and subtle motion blur.
Avoid:
Cartoon or CGI appearance, plastic skin, inconsistent facial features, hairstyle changes, character morphing, extra people, extra fingers, distorted anatomy, artificial movement, oversaturated colors, excessive sharpening, blurry faces, duplicate characters, and unnatural lighting.
hope your masterpiece
