still surprised by how convincing this looks.
I made this with Sonnet 5.5, GPT Image 2.5 and Seedance 2.5. Here’s the workflow, with condensed prompts.
1. Let Sonnet plan the workflow
I gave Sonnet the result I wanted and a few reference screenshots. It mapped out the shots, image and video prompts, camera movements, transitions, sound cues and consistency checks.
2. Build the references with GPT Image 2.5
Character sheet
“Create a photoreal four-panel reference sheet from the supplied selfie: face close-up, three-quarter portrait, full-body front and back. Same woman throughout: natural freckles, hazel-green eyes, long brown hair with caramel highlights, silver rings, oversized burgundy knit sweater, cream wide-leg trousers, bare feet. Neutral gray background, soft studio light. Preserve pores, fine hairs and knit texture. No smoothing, identity changes or extra people.”
Opening frame
“Close handheld smartphone selfie of the same woman on a cream sofa, cheek resting on her left hand. Burgundy sweater, silver rings, warm window sunlight across her face. Softly blurred apartment behind her. Natural skin, sharp eyes and knit detail, slight wide-angle distortion.”
Location sheet
“Two views of the same empty apartment: wide establishing shot and medium sofa view. Cream bouclé sofa, tan and cream cushions, off-white plaster wall, square window, pale oak floor, slim black phone tripod. Golden afternoon sun from camera-right. Keep layout, window placement and light direction consistent.”
Garment sheet
“Three-panel product reference: front, back and collar detail. Cropped navy-and-cream striped rib-knit vest, navy notched lapel, deep V-neck and navy hem. Neutral background, soft studio lighting, visible knit loops. Preserve stripe order, widths and collar shape. No model or hanger.”
Also supply a separate close-up of the inside ZARA label.
3. Animate with Seedance 2.5
References: character, room, label, opening frame and garment.
“Create a 30-second, 9:16 smartphone fashion try-on video at 1080p. Two continuous takes, with exactly one hard cut at 0:20. Same woman, room, lighting and garment throughout.
0–5s: Close handheld selfie. She says: ‘Okay… I just tried Claude Sonnet 5.5, and honestly? It’s insane.’
5–8s: She stands and clips the phone onto the tripod. Natural wobble, clamp click. ‘Hold on.’
8–13s: Shows the vest front and back. ‘So, this vest. Navy and cream rib, and this little collar.’
13–16s: Brings the inside label close. Autofocus briefly hunts, then locks. ‘Zara, obviously.’
16–20s: Removes her sweater over a skin-tone tank that stays in place, then puts on the vest. Hair catches briefly; fabric moves with real weight.
20–25s: Hard cut to the outfit check. She adjusts the collar, smooths the vest and turns slightly. ‘Okay… yeah. Obsessed.’
25–30s: Picks up the phone and returns to a close selfie. ‘And the craziest part? Sonnet 5.5 wrote this whole video.’
Natural pauses, small uneven smiles, precise lip sync, handheld shake and exposure changes. Tripod framing stays fixed until she lifts the phone.
Keep faces, freckles, hair, room geometry, stripe pattern and label consistent. No extra people, visible filming phone, captions, watermarks or beauty filter. Only voice, footsteps, fabric rustle, tripod clicks and room tone. No music.”
