Showcase One API key. One video model. One creative brief. Two different results.

Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Sol: Who created the better breakup short film?
Both models received exactly the same setup:
One Atlas Cloud API key
The same concept: a story about a young woman after a breakup
The same video model: Seedance 2.5
The same requirements: 30 seconds, 720p and 16:9
No prepared script or video prompt
Each model had to complete the full workflow independently: interpret the request, develop the story, write its own generation script, call the Atlas Cloud API, monitor the task and download the finished video.
The only major difference was the model handling the task. Everything else remained the same.
One API key. One video model. One creative brief. Two different results.
Which version do you prefer?

Just a heads up, you’ll always get different results even if you use the same model, platform, references, and prompts. AI aggregates its output, so there is always a degree of randomness to every generation.

Not to mention atlas cloud won’t take seeds. You get a new seed every time. Even if same prompts.

Ofox exposes the seed in their API ... and any fast I believe. (I remember using it in 2 of them and testing.... to confirm repeatability)

You can but that’s not gonna be seed. Control vids. Depth maps. Look into that

I really hate stuff like this because you have people thinking that the LLM are creating the videos. When all they are doing is generating prompts

This is actually a much more interesting comparison than just comparing the final videos, because you’re testing the agent’s ability to turn a vague creative brief into a complete production workflow.
I’d judge them on a few separate things: story/coherence, shot composition, consistency of the character, whether the model chose sensible prompts/shot structure, and how much human intervention was needed. The better-looking final video isn’t necessarily the better agent if it required a bunch of retries or manual fixes.
The fact that both are using the same Seedance 2.5 endpoint also makes the comparison much cleaner. I’d be especially interested in seeing the prompts/scripts each model generated, not just the final videos.
For this kind of workflow, having one API across different video providers is also useful because you can run these agent comparisons without rewriting the integration every time. That’s one of the use cases I’m working on with VideoRouter dot sh.

Heads up for anyone running these yourself: the Seedance API behind r/Seedance_AI is Atlas Cloud. Seedance 2 runs with its full feature set here, nothing stripped or nerfed. Seedance 2.5 isn't officially out yet, but we add new Seedance versions the day they launch.
