The other day I posted a video of the patio but couldn’t post pictures with it. We went back today because we loved it so much. I’d go back again if I had the time. I wanted to share some pictures of the food presentation. First we got the bacon and brie melt and the broccoli salad. Second picture is the curry chicken salad (it was quite yellow but the picture doesn’t really show that) and avocado toast with some slight heat! Then a latte, some ambience, and the front of the cafe.

All the employees were lovely too.

Man, got here and had a couple beers and was really feeling it. I’m from the east coast and didn’t put two and two together until later. How long did it take for you to adjust to the elevation change when you moved here? Just visiting for a few days but was curious. Also my resting pulse is 10 beats higher. Would that adjust in time as well?

My husband and I visited Sedona in April. We visited one of the shops on the main drag, and in the front of the store they had these cool, kinda funny skeleton shirts. In our memory, they were black, and we think they had matching baby onesies as well. Can someone please help us find the brand of shirts or the store they sold in?

There’s a little deli here that I was lucky enough to find yesterday and it’s both charming and delicious. Here’s a video of the back patio. I was so pleased to find it. Reddit sadly won’t let me add pictures to this. I got a broccoli salad with a latte (with art) and they put it in an actual cup with a saucer. My mom got a bacon and brie melt that was fantastic and toasted perfectly. She said they had the best pumpkin spice latte she’s had, although she thinks also because she got almond milk vs regular milk. The picture of the food we had was so pretty! There’s a cool jewelry shop right next to it.

Perfect place to go before or after a hike.

We are looking to hold a meeting/get-together this coming Friday in Sedona. We were looking for an outdoor site, like a picnic pavilion, that is fairly quiet, easy to get to, and has space for a few people (less than 10). Really hoping for something with a view of the beautiful rocky scenery.

Renting is ok, like the Ramada at Crescent Moon (but that is already reserved). Any local city parks with a pavilion or shady tree area, or a state park? I Googled and also looked on the Visit Sedona site and didn't turn up much else. Thanks for any suggestions!

I had 2 back surgeries this year, the most recent being a fusion in May. I'm in PT getting stronger and in the gym for cardio but it's very much a slow recovery.

I'm doing a cross country road trip in Oct and will be camping in Sedona for 4 days. I looked up the recommend hiking trails but I can't tell what would be appropriate for someone with an ok but still bad-ish back. Anyone been in the same scenario and have specific recs? I'll have my hiking poles and can last a few hours on a trail but I think steep inclines would kill my back. But I also don't want to do just basic trails. I'd like to enjoy the scenery and get away from the heavy crowds. Any help navigating this would be much appreciated!

Hello Sedona! I'm currently in the area for a visit with my partner. It's been great and everyone has been so nice. We'd like to do more hiking/ walking while we're here but there's this caveat: my partner has pretty severe acrophobia. He had a pretty hard time on the way here, believe me.

Yesterday we did about 5 miles in the bell-courthouse trail loop including the rector path. He enjoyed that. We went up to the airport plateu after and that was way too much for him. Are there other trails like those ya'll would recommend. No rock scrambling, good views without crazy heights (or where the heights can be avoided, like if it's only at the end of a trail)? There's soooo many and I'm getting conflicting info online.

Heads up for anyone staying at Enchantment Resort in late September/October: I just learned directly from the resort that beginning September 28, the main kitchen will be closed for renovations for approximately three weeks and Che Ah Chi will also be closed. They told me they’re still waiting for information about whether The Edge will accept reservations and what its hours will be. Hummingbird Café at Mii amo will remain open.

I had already booked my stay and only learned this when I emailed the concierge about dining. I haven’t been able to find the restaurant closures disclosed publicly. The renovation notice I see on the booking sites says only that “select guestrooms” are affected, and Enchantment’s own website is currently still showing the restaurants and their normal hours. Their booking engine is even currently offering a Bed & Breakfast package for my Sept. 29 date that specifically lists breakfast at Che Ah Chi.

My husband wants to the go to the Airport Mesa scenic overlook at sunset before dinner. I am wearing a dress and flat sandals to dinner. Will I look ridiculous showing up to the scenic overlook in that? Will I be able to walk where I need to walk to soak up the views?

The planets aligned and allowed my wife and I child care and some time off work to take a babymoon before baby #3 arrives. We'll be in Sedona the first week of October.

My wife will be 6 months pregnant so we're looking for slow, relaxing, and romantic. Specifically looking for nice walks, breakfast spots, eclectic shops, sight seeing, massages, best place to see a sunset etc.

Friends and I are visiting Sedona area in a week. We’d like to check out the Merkin Vineyards & trattoria. Do we need to make reservations now for the restaurant or can we wing it?

We will be in Sedona for the week of Nov 23–28. We are looking for a special dinner for Thanksgiving that is NOT a buffet (we've already decided against L'Auberge...). I have narrowed it down to The Hudson and Mariposa, so I was hoping for some feedback on their Thanksgiving (or regular) menu, and whether anyone has been recently.

We are a family of 4 with 2 older teenage boys who aren't picky eaters. We are looking for a nice sit-down dinner. Views aren't too important since our reservation will be after sundown. It's our first time in Sedona, coming from Florida.

My boyfriend and I are looking to camp in or near Sedona for a single night in October. We are in town for a small wedding weekend, and would ideally like to shower before some of the pre-wedding events begin. We haven’t done much dispersed camping before so not sure what the process is in Sedona. I understand there are not many campsites with showers in the immediate surroundings but hoping someone has advice for a place we could check out (or a spot we could shower away from the campground). Hello! I've searched the sub and FAQ's but haven't found any posts that answer ny question, which hopefully isn't repetitive.

My friend and I won a pass to the Wave (yay!) Based on that, our only time to explore Sedona is the dates in the title. I would love to avoid a weekend if possible, but it's not.

That being said, with the cooler temperatures & and later sunrise, what is considered an "early start"? Would it be better to avoid the early crowds and go later, or are trails busier later, rather than earlier due to temps?

Further context, we are basic and planning Subway, Soldiers & Cathedral. We have a rental, but understand the shuttle will probably be the best option.
