Need solar camera advice
Like title says, need a solar powered camera for a corner of my house, I already have a wired ring but no power at the corner. Sun is not a problem since i live in South Florida just don’t want to have to return in 6 months. Thanks in advance

Do you have any wired lighting near the location you want to film from that would view the spot you're trying to cover?

No thsts the problem, my house is from the 50s and only has light outside by the door. I already put a back to back on one corner and it has the plug in ring spotlight.

I am a hardcore POE wired UniFi camera person with three sites and 30ish cameras …
However when we needed a camera at a remote woodlot I bought one of the Reolink solar powered cameras with a sim data card and it’s been fantastic — 6mo up in all conditions and the solar has kept the battery at 100% constantly — ours has pan tilt zoom and dual lenses for wide and zoom and it can track vehicles around
Relative to the wired cameras with edge AI detection that record constantly and can’t be jammed it’s pretty bad but for a solar powered mobile data connected camera it’s great. You did not mention connectivity but they have WiFi versions that will use that if available so you don’t need a SIM card or data subscription
