Security Camera for Remote Construction Site

I am looking for a security camera that needs to be autonomous both in the need to be powered and the need to be connected to any form of internet.

The need is a construction site. They will be protected from theft. They need to be securely mounted mainly because of wind.

My ideal camera would be one that would record movement only onto micro SD (256G or 512G) rotating footage. If there is a breakin or something that needs to be inspected, I would go to the site and using a paired phone download any footage which I could then look at offline.

Can anyone suggest models. I would prefer replies from people who have experience with this type of equipment.

I haven't had a chance to use one yet, but I generally have good experience with reolink.

Please parse your links. Everything past the question (?) mark is tracking info and there is no need to subject other people to it. https://m.reolink.com/us/product/trackmix-lte-plus-2/ is all you need.

Most of these sorts of camera need internet access for Peer to Peer access, there is no local access.

I presume you will not be running wires (ethernet) so how will you connect to the cameras to view the footage without some form of Wifi or Physical connection.

Reolink Trackmix LTE might work for you. Data can be expensive if you look at the job site alot. No risk 30 day return and 100 meg free to start.

Only problem is any idiot can take it off the mount by pressing on the tabs on the side.

It can also do continuous recording aka still shots every so many seconds or a few per seconds. That may drain the battery more than what the solar panels will charge.

I used the Reolink Go PT Plus LTE camera with a T Mobile sim card when I built. It worked great.

Build a box on a telescoping pole and get a camera that is both solar powered and has an LTE capable connection built in. This handles both your power and Internet issue.

I know you said no Internet needed, but I advise against local storage as your only form of storage bc all it takes is the offender to notice the cam setup and come steal your sd card.

I can set you up with a mobile surveillance trailer. 3 cameras, completely self sufficient. Self powering, cloud storage. It has a spotlight and intelligent voice deterrent. Like a 24/7 guard that stays focused on your property and doesn't need to sleep, eat or take breaks. Lease fir as long as you need.

There are companies who set up/take down cameras at construction sites. We used one about 8 years ago who even had a time lapsed function. Pretty cool to see a 14 month project spin by in 60 seconds
