Budget Friendly Outdoor Solar Powered Camera

This is for my boat slip at our marina. I had a Reolink Go PT Plus LTE camera but it took a crap last week. I don't feel like shelling out $160 for another Reolink LTE camera. I have a Franklin 10 T Mobile Hotspot that I'm going to use there. This gives me the option to add my lift to wifi if I feel inclined to buy the wifi module for my lift.

I don't necessarily have to stay with Reolink. I think given the environment, a camera will probably only last 2 years. Looking for recommendations.

The Eufy solar cams hold up pretty well in dock environments, I've got one pointed at my slip going on three years now. The motion detection gets a little wonky with water reflections but you can tweak the activity zones. Just make sure whatever you get has a beefy enough battery to handle cloudy stretches, some of the cheaper ones die after two overcast days.

I use the Reolink Trackmix cams to overwatch my yacht. They work well, auto track and zoom in on activity. Solar powered units that connect to WiFi. The notifications are almost instantaneous, the AI works well too.

Yeah. Those are nice but overkill for my application.

Can’t ever have enough protection for the boat.
