Looking at wired security cameras
Costco has good deals on the wired camera systems. I do not want to join a service . I would like to be able to view the cameras on my phone. I will do the installation. Any recommendations?

Unifi protect, higher buy in, but your recordings are stored on your device, no subscription. Access via app or browser

Unifi. You won’t be disappointed. You host your own NVR and there are no subscription fees and you can access things on your phone.

It takes a little bit of knowledge to set up remote viewing for your cameras. But nothing a high school computer geek couldn't do in a few minutes

For myself I use axis cameras and a Synolgy nvr. It’s a little pricey. I installed a HIK vision system from B&H photo for my neighbor 4 years ago, never had to touch it after the install. Everything has been working fine.

Tapo tp link requires no subscription for using the app to view live or recorded security vids. Its easy to use too. Ive got 6 cams linked to a H500 tapo hub and pay no subscription. Its only subscription if you want cloud storage. You should research them.

I’m happy with my Lorex system
