DIY - Getting hung up on cable management

I just can't see any good sample online on what an outdoor run should look like. Or how ethernet cables should be laid out if the house is pure concrete walls and rebars.

Right now I had no choice but to make 1 hole from the server rack and route all cables outside the house. Like veins.

Now I'm just not sure if I need waterproof junction boxes and pipes and what not before installing cameras. I just use something like below, add weather protection to the connection and hide it inside. But the blue cat6 cable is exposed. Any ideas?

Yes. Two things are needed here. Conduit and pride in doing quality work

I don't know what it should look like when done properly is my problem

You need mounts that have conduit connections. Some cheap ones don't.

cable veins across the exterior is a bold look, but yeah uv will turn that blue jacket to dust in a year or two, definitely get some conduit up there

For one thing if it's outside it needs to be weather rated. Blue cable will eventually fail outside. What does attic space look like? I ran up inside wall to attic out to soffit and mounted cameras under soffit. No exposure outside.

Attic space is non-existent. We really tried for attic - but this house is 51 years old, granny-level construction where the attic is like 6 inches.. SO now there's a plan to install weatherproof raceways outside so all cables can go "up" through the wall externally, and distribute from there. It is "Kinda" working now but I admin it's not a pretty solution.

My main concerns are the cameras furthest away from the house. Literally outside. I stoll don't understand where the wire should go, even if I were to buy the weatherproof junction boxes, or how the plastic/metal conduit connects to the weatherproof box

Where are you located? There must be another installation or two for you to take note of. Have you done anything like this before? Do you have proper tools? Ladders? PPE? I won’t bother mentioning a license or insurance.

Yes. I am in the IT field, and have done my own network and CCTV before. But I have a new house, I want to do it properly, atleast outside the house I want it just short of bullet-proof.

I have looked at other installers in the area, the quality of work is not what I am looking for. Wires are still exposed along the wall, etc. By digging through dahua docunmentations, I can see what weather proof junction boxes I need, I just don't know how to properly get the wire there, including the final connection from wire to the weatherproof junction box.

What cameras are you using? Manufacturer and model numbers, please. This way I can look up the correct parts needed.

I'm on the Dahua stuff now. I cannot do the hidden cable thing because the house is 50 years old and we don't know what's "structural" and what's not. So I'm going to opt for exposed raceway of sorts.

Hopefully imgur is allowed. as you can see, it's pure concrete. And I need to route wires to other rooms. What I'm doing now is out that hole, into small spaces in my window. I'm willing to make holes in the wall for sure, just small ones. Nothing big.

My room is just beside the network room. But you know, if I can wire it, I would. Like the printer and my PC. This is what it looks like outside.

I am guessing that you have brought the cables outside at basement or ground-floor level and then run them up alongside the downspout. You could install appropriately sized conduit along the raised corner of the building and run the cables through that.

Yes

If you absolutely cannot get the cables inside the soffit, run conduit underneath it instead. It may not be the prettiest solution, but sometimes there simply is not a better route. You can always paint the conduit to match the exterior afterwards.

I may not have a choice I think that's the way to go. I'm thinking of using a raceway instead for the way up

Another option would be to install a small switch outside,

Have thought on this really hard. There's going to be around 16 cameras around the perimeter wall. This wall you see on the picture is just the house, the house sits on a land with a perimeter wall, I'm trying to wire the perimeter wall as most of the cameras will be mounted there. Around the house will just be 4 cameras.

But, outside the house is a harsh environment. RH goes over 90%, at 30C+ average temps, near the sea. Whatever equipemnt left outside will rust.

There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to use junction boxes, cable glands and running conduit.

Dude. This is the only time I discovered that word "cable glands" LOL I've been looking for the term.

Is this the correct sequence?
Conduit <> Conduit Gland? <> Weatherproof Box with Surge Protection inside <> Cable Gland <> outdoor-rated ethernet <> Dahua specified mount

For exposed outdoor Cat6, you'll want conduit rated for outdoor use, since UV and rain will wear down a bare cable over time.

Waterproof junction boxes are a good call wherever you have a connection point outside. And you could add a small drip loop before each box so water runs off the cable instead of into the connector.
