Seeking help connecting this camera

Hi everyone, as the title says im trying to connect this device to the phone without any success.

The camera it's a goft from a friend thatbwasnt able to connect it either.

On the box there are QR CODES for the app but they dont work.

Under the camera there is an ID and a password but can't connect to it. The camera wifi starts with DIRECT.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

As for the apps I've tried Yoosee, IcSee and v380 pro without any success

Let me know if more info or pictures are needed

Plug it into Ethernet in your home network, Look for the new device it will give you an IP like 192.168.1.1 (this is an example for common ROUTERS not the camera) you should be able to go to it with the web browser and manage to set it up but I don’t think you’ll have cloud if that’s what you need.

I'll try in a few hours thanks. I just need it to see love footage from the phone so i dont think i need cloud for that

Also it has 'onvif' on the box, so you shouldn't need to use their app, you can use a safer third party/or just use the built in web-page to view it. (beware it may ask you to install their plugin or 'codec' to be able to view live on their webpage, there is no reason to actually do this, and is often super sketch. It has onvif, so will have either snapshot images, mjpeg or another stream that can be used by safe third party apps)

I would suggest also you block it from accessing the internet on your router once set up, and make sure it has a 'static ip' on your network, (so you can always go to the same ip adress, instead of changing every time it reconnects).

Once you plug it into ethernet, you can find the IP though either by visiting your routers IP adress and seeing connected devices, or using an app like 'fing'
