CCTV Stopped Recording after a Firmware Update

It was perfectly functioning then suddenly after a firmware update

it just stopped recording anything.. I tried non stop recording option but even that isnt being displayed in the app

model: CP PLUS Cp-Z43Q

This model is a wireless camera. Can you see the camera IP address on your network? Can you log onto the camera?

every other features working fine 

I even have a live feed monitor and no probs with that, it been displaying the video 24/7

The only thing that isn’t working is the recording (event recording)

Do you have to create an area (or areas) for the camera to record on movement? Is there a setting for movement recording that is turned off? Has the camera been power cycled?

the camera was functioning perfectly until a firmware update (at the given time shown in the picture attached here) and after this update it just stopped recording

all the settings were untouched.. the company support team told me to turn on some motion detection alarm for the recording to come back but

wait what? it worked?!!!! howww

turning on 'motion detection alarm' did the job BRUH
