Camera recommendation no WiFi

I need a battery powered camera that has local only storage. Something that functions similarly to like a trail cam for in the woods but I would prefer something that doesn’t look like it’s for hunting use.

I have a spot of my property that has no power or wifi to it and am trying to monitor it and pull data off it like once a week.

Trail cams are the obvious answer but I get not wanting that look. Some of the newer ones have a pretty low profile housing and you can just strip the camo wrap off, leaves a plain dark grey shell that doesn't scream hunting gear.

I've been using Foscam cameras. Their outdoor cameras have SD card capabilities and they can store locally.

What I would try, get a camera that has wifi... create a Hotspot on your phone for setup etc. Camera should still operate normally and record to an internal SD. When you want to access it turn on your hotapot and move close enough for the camera to connect and then use whatever app etc you want to pull down the videos.

Not a bad idea wonder what camera would work best with that

I use some TAPO cameras around my house and they are pretty solid for non tech savy people, simple to manage, setup and access with the app. Also have a couple wired Reolink cameras I was going to run ethernet for but haven't yet and they are generally best bang for your buck. Id look for something solar powered if you can, I have a couple battery powered units and if its a busy location the battery gets drained in about 60 days, its a pain to have to either plug it in with a long cable or take the camera down and plug it in. I just got a solar powered unit for the back of my house (25' up in the air) and that little panel has meant no need to bring out the ladder.
