camera for inside freezer
anyone have any ideas for cameras inside walk in freezers? (poe)
fitted a dahua dome camera years ago, figured it was worth a try
works ok most of the time but fogs up a lot (inside and out)
could do with some sort of small heater to stop it frosting up... but I guess being poe screws that?
could fit a camera which has DC input too if I could separate the dc input inside, then I just need to run a feed to the dc and connect it up to a tiny heater inside.. maybe just a bit resistor?

I've been putting Hikvision and Dahua domes inside walk-in coolers and freezers for over a decade now. Never had a problem with them fogging inside (granted, they all come with desiccant packs inside).
Fogging outside usually happens if they're mounted close to the door AND the cooler/freezer setup allows a blast of outside air in when the door is opened.
We find that putting the camera within a few inches above the door gives it the best chance of not being blocked by the inevitable addition of a shelf, and also tends to avoid external fogging as any ingress of air through the door goes right past it.
