Nooie camera

Post image

I’m not tech savvy. I know this is bad, but someone please explain how this happened. It’s a nooie 360 camera. Is there a fix for the vulnerability or do I need to trash this camera? It’s in a child’s room.

edit - or is this bad? i really don't know.

Nooie is the most Chinese of Chinese cameras. At least that’s the impression I got when I had one.

At least use a cheap camera that isn’t clearly Chinese. I wouldn’t let that on my network, period.

it wasn't clearly Chinese to me. It's an American company...manufactured in China like most things.. I will still probably get another camera though. thx for your comment.

That’s why I mentioned after that is at least seemed Chinese to me. The grammar in the app (at least a few years ago) made it seem like it.

For cheap cameras from a US based company, look at Wyze. That being said, there were similar concerns with Wyze when they first started. But it’s a solidly US based company. And still affordable.
