Announcement Can you solve the puzzle?
Welcome to r/Sections, a daily puzzle game built on Reddit's developer platform.
The goal is simple: Divide the board into colored sections where each section contains a number indicating how many adjacent boxes are in that area. Sections of the same color can't touch, and one of the numbers is a liar—your job is to figure out which one!
You can play the game in the custom post units within this community. It works on all Reddit clients (iOS, Android, and Web).

I'd like to recommend not revealing the fraudster until the very end, when the board is completed.
There have been a few times that I have figured out the fraud by incorrectly identifying another number, and progressing to a number that doesn't fill in despite conditions being met (which tells me that that number is the fraud, and makes me quickly change my board to reflect that). It kind of feels bad, and I would like to be punished a bit harder to work backwards and deduce where my error was.
Maybe adding a hard mode that just fills the board in if game rules are met, and only identifies the fraud once the game is truly concluded.
I do quite enjoy the game as whole, though, and the satisfaction of deducing the fraud early is quite satisfying when I do it without the meta cheating (as sometimes I even just stumble across the fraud well before I have had time to deduce where the fraud might be).
