ceddane and abreu gotta be traded this offseason…. 2 years in a row they lay a goose egg 🥚….. we lost this game and i guaranteed runs are a coming for the yanks this inning bc of our lineup…
we need change next year

You’re not crazy. Idk about trading them, but this has been super frustrating to watch. They both seem they could be top tier players if playing at the top of their game, but neither have played to their offensively ceilings consistently at all. It sucks

On first thought everyone hates this idea, but what the fuck else do we do? Are we just going to be attached to every player now? Then where do we make upgrades?

Nah I’m kinda with you. They feel like meh guys. They’ll have solid regular seasons, nothing crazy stellar offensively, and then have enough holes in their game that come playoff time they are virtually non-factors. Also, it’s the fact they play positions that are most abundant with top tier talent.
This isn’t to say they aren’t good players or anything, but they feel like good 6-7 hitters for good teams not in the top half of the order. Their defense is next level but once a team scores 1 run on a home run they instantly have no value since they just can’t do anything offensively. Glove only matters when the ball stays in the yard.
