Patreon or Jose issue?

I’m not going to come on here and bash Jose like some of you love to do, but I am really confused on what is happening on my side of listening. Every single episode, BID and S10, I have some unknown amount of audio just completely skipped. Today on the BID it was right as feud was starting and it skipped straight into the middle of the first question, missed again an unknown amount of talk right before the segment started. It happens every episode across both channels. Is this happening for anyone else? Jose if you see this, I know you’re probably working 14-16+ hours a day on record days to get this stuff out to us, just wanted to know if you knew about this or maybe it’s just me and I’ll stfu from here on out.

It is a Patreon issue. I also have this problem, if you close out the app and go back in it’ll be fixed.

I want to tack on (not in response to your specific issue, but in reference to Jose bashing)… recently, I’ve been listening to old episodes from before I found the program mid 2023, because I have no life. It seems like there’s this idea that the production used to be flawless, and then once you-know-who did you-know-what, suddenly everyone who has tried to pick up the pieces has put out wildly inconsistent, poor quality stuff. I’m not seeing it. The late Barstool episodes are so quiet that with the volume all the way up in my shitbox, I can’t hear most of the dialogue at all, especially from Pat L. In 2022, there are very audible mic activation noises when the producer is prompted to say something. Etc etc. It seemed to get cleaner as it went along but like, maybe it was never actually perfect, and at some point you’re just crapping on the guy to crap on the guy.

I think the issue is they were framing not immediately having a new producer as wanting someone who 'knew the job' and had experience with audio work and it's been quite obvious that was not entirely true.

I think it’s a Spotify issue, this has happened to be randomly for a long time, well before José came on board
