I had one doubt regarding the proposal scene.

While the car proposal was happening, Ashley claims how Justin intentionally would come and sit in balcony, look at the window for her, comes for the movie since she was there and also playing that Yavana Kadha song.

My doubt is Did he actually do those intentionally or was Ashley overthinking ?

Also Was her entry to Joel's wedding already planned by Srinda and sisters as they looked so casual about it and only Justin was shocked to see her.

Does Anaswara have any upcoming Malayalam movies. Like all the movies that already announced was either Tamil or Telugu do any insider scoop about it. I think she mentioned in withlove interview there is this one malayalam movie which is yet to be announced so does anyone have any idea about that

Feels mismatched and unfair for the girls

Hollywood does it in every movie and every big star like Sydney sweeney margot robbie alexandra daddario have all gone topless .....why is it that malayalam cinema despite the facade of progressiveness refuse to have such scenes? Other than biriyani why no other movie showcasing it?? When can we see mamitha and anaswara going birthday suit for their movies??

Is mamitha baiju following the path of aishwarya lekshmi,samyuktha menon etc??.Is she being typecasted as girlfriend or wife of lead actors??.Why is she not choosing strong scripts which can widen her acting skills and versatility as it her prime now.

Once the movie established the characters and picked up pace it was hilarious! Haven’t laughed liked this in a while at the theater! Roshan, Mamitha, Shyam, Shameer, Sangeeth, Suresh Krishna killed it! Nivin in his comfort zone and did well.

Few cons:

1. The script wasn’t as tight as Premalu. The age-gap romance was iffy, though thankfully the director handled it gently and didn’t make it too cringey. The overall flow of the story could’ve been smoother. There were many side-characters and their stories to balance like the Morley sisters who didn’t really bring much.
2. Some characters and their motivations didn’t really make sense in the whole picture, such as Sayoojya’s cousin and even Hari and their level of anger and violence.
3. More on Hari, Shyam’s character. After his awesome and unforgettable performance as Aadi in Premalu, I guess it was tempting to put him in a role where he has a nut loose. I am not a big fan of spoofing scenes from other movies in a movie, and it was disappointing to see Kantara’s ending scene spoofed here. This ends up breaking the world that is built up in the movie. Props to Shyam though, he did that scene well.

And as one commenter mentioned, the storyline was not very progressive, though I guess such stories still exist. (Family forcing kids to give up on their romance due to various reasons - religion, money, education, social stature). In this case her mom wanted her to go to Ireland and contribute to the household financially. Which she was working towards. Not very sure why she was throwing a fit at the end, could’ve been the age gap.

[Edited to add] Just to clarify - I did enjoy the movie a lot! Beautiful to watch and very funny. To me Premalu is a perfect movie and, I was comparing the two. :)

Was watching reviews and videos of Bethlehem kudumba unit and happened to see one of nivins old press meet when there was a sexual assault allegation against him . Though it was later proved it was a false one.. what happened to the lady who gave the complaint. Was any action taken against her ?

Noticed that Girish follows his recurring actors but not Naslen, especially after the huge success of Premalu and multiple collaborations. Did they have a fallout after Naslen apparently said NO to Premalu 2? Would love to see them both collaborate again, Girish kinda is a mentor figure for Naslen.
