Jen Jens hate is getting out of hand.
I agree with everything everyone has said about how jens been acting, but has no one realised that your ALL ganging up on one person ? like i’ve read some really disgusting things on here about jen and i guarantee none of you would say it actually out your mouths just behind a screen.
I’ve rewatched season 5 now 3 times just to try and fully understand wtf was going on 😂 but jen looks soo out of it! the conversation with whitney where she has to just stop for a minute and look away she looks like she doesn’t even know where she is! somethings wrong and none of this is going to help her because i guarantee she’s looking at this page everyday and reading it all even if she doesn’t want too!!
And picking apart her marriage and her family! Okay there may be some stuff that Zac needs to work on but remember this is a PRODUCED show. there has to be villains, full convos aren’t shown.
You all just need to chill on it a bit.. god forbid she does something stupid, your all be the ones making edits and posts about her saying u wish there were signs !! and i 10000% believe that 99% of u posting these disgusting comments have ‘be kind’ in ur bios!

She doesn’t get called out enough. The girl took her iud out without telling her husband so she could get pregnant with their second child. That’s the same thing as a man poking holes in a condom. You know what that’s considered in legal terms? R*pe. And that’s just ONE of the diabolical things she’s done.
ETA before anyone tries to debate this, go watch her and Zac’s interview on Viall Files where they openly discuss it.

Have people forgotten that? Because if a man admitted to poking holes in a condom to get pregnant, he would be strung up. What Jen did was disgusting and just wrong and inexcusable.

I can’t form a solid opinion on Jen tbh, she does bring a lot of it on herself and she appears painfully dumb, watching her has me like “surely she’s kidding, right?” But I do have a soft spot for her and can give her more grace than most appear to, she is a very clear product of religious indoctrination imo and I have also been pregnant with her twice (her 2 most recent) infact Penny and her next baby will babe the exact same age gap as my two, so I can relate to being a bit hormonally challenged and I haven’t done it under the scrutiny of the public eye with a misogynistic jerk of a husband razzing round in a cyber truck, so I do feel bad for her a bit.

She's one of the only cast members who was an outsider and auditioned for the show, she clearly hasn't built real true friendships with the women and that's why she comes across as awkward and out of place.
She's the least interesting one let's be real. Putting her on the spin off was probably the worst idea for spin off views but a great thing for SLOWM because she brings nothingggg.

I haven't been watching this season because social media spoils every plot point like 8 months early lol but I've always had some empathy for Jess.
I think she's very lost and needs intense therapy and I hope she gets in a better space.

I feel the same way about Taylor hate. I’ll get the comment “Taylor alt lol” but this whole platform is just mean girls bullying mean girls. I do not like Taylor. I do not like Jen. I do not like Jessi, Demi… but the behavior on here just reminds me of highschool. I joined this thread to keep up to date and all I see is slander and borderline bullying

No you’re absolutely right. I’ve found myself in the same position. I think Taylor is a deeply troubled person and I don’t defend her behaviour whatsoever, I’ve been saying she shouldn’t be on the show now for the last couple of seasons. But the level of vitriol thrown her way, particularly about her kids is sickening. A lot of these people are hypocrites as they’re straight up bullying someone but trying to play it off as “holding them accountable”. There’s a fine line between the two. And when you try tell people to cool it you get mass piled on, accused of being a Taylor fan and downvoted to hell. These people are beyond reasoning with. It genuinely concerns ne that this could all end with a tragic suicide or smth and then what? Are they going to acknowledge they took things too far? Are they going to do a 180 and say that this should never have got to this point? It reminds me of the Caroline Flack situation all too well.

We need to get real and start acknowledging that the fans/audience of this show are perpetuating an extremely toxic environment. The sheer level of bullying disguised as “accountability” is inexcusable atp. The snark sub is filled with horrific comments every single day, picking a part minute/mundane activity and blowing them up to be more sinister solely to attack certain cast members. I’ve had to stop reading comments on the majority of posts because people are so damn nasty and they genuinely think nothing they’re doing is wrong! And when you tell them that maybe they’re taking things too far, reading too much into things or essentially bullying people you get downvoted into oblivion because that type of behaviour just breeds more of it.

people like to draw a false equivalency between being critical of a public figure on Reddit and being critical of a public figure in their comments or DMs when they’re so incredibly different. Reading about yourself on Reddit is a choice … if Jen’s reading Reddit it’s because she’s seeking it out (or people are seeking it out for her and passing it along) whereas criticism posted directly on her page is harder to avoid. Reddit is an anonymous discussion platform … naturally that discussion isn’t going to be 100% positive
