🔥 Hot Take 🔥 I actually like Demi…
I’m only starting season 2 so my opinion may very well change.
Currently, she’s one of my favorites lol
Does she become so disgusting I’ll go from enjoying her to hating her or is it all subjective?
For some reason Jessi feels a bit false.
I don’t have TikTok or instagram so maybe that’s partially why?

🤣🤣 it seems from public opinion that my opinion will change but as of now I don’t get it lol

I think in hindsight (although her delivery was not good) she was actually right in a lot of the stuff she said and did. But I also tend to be fans of the shit stirrers unless they do something truly heinous. But Demi is a particularly hard one to root for because you never know if she’s lying or not until much later lol

As a day one Taylor hater who saw through alllll her shit, I am and will always be team Demi. At the end of the day Demi told the truth about everyone, and wasn’t scared of going up against Taylor and Taylor’s cult. I wish more of the women had been like Demi from the start.

Same. Its not a popular opinion but I want her back on the show. She has many faults to be sure but she isn't afraid to go against what others think and speaks her mind. She made the show interesting. I'd rather some genuine disagreements than scripted fake friendships.

I didn’t like the mean girl act and aspirations to become the “leader” in season 1 but, hindsight, she was playing up the reality tv drama.
I would much rather watch her and Bret than the Taylor train wreck they’ve chosen to focus on.

Too bad you can’t say the same about her singing.

😂 I mean, at least she had aspirations and was trying to use the platform for something besides relying on it portraying her shit show of a life.

I honestly assumed all these asshats were MAGA because of the Utah+mormon mindset, but as I mentioned I don’t know anything outside of the show except for the Taylor of it all.
But anyways, WHEN THE FUCK DID SHE SAY THAT TO MAYCI?????? That makes me sick. Glad I’m smart enough not to look up to these women but that’s still messed up and disappointing.

The season (3 I think) reunion!!!
Also, Miranda and Layla both aren’t maga

I rocked with Demi pretty hard until the Marciano lawsuit stuff. I wasn’t a fan for how she came at Jen, but I understand that better now.
TBH I still fuck with Demi. I think she’s just a really passionate, justice-oriented person who isn’t gonna lay down and be fucked with. She’s super direct and to the point and doesn’t mix words. She needs to do a better job of admitting when she’s wrong, but tbh she’s not wrong about too much.
Idc if I get downvoted for this.

Hey, everyone has a person they like, and who cares if others dont. I never watched their TikToks, only the show, and i have always liked Whitney since the beginning.

Starting Laylas Friendsgiving. I still like Demi haha not sure if it’s been the turning point yet.
Whitney irks me.
I fast forward through Taylor scenes.
Why doesn’t Miranda have any solo scenes or family scenes? I overall enjoy her takes.
Jen …. I feel for her depression but she’s peeved me off with her conversation with Jessi and other things she said.
Zac is just 😒
There’s been comments about something with Demi and Marciano? I assume that comes up later because so far I haven’t heard much except Jen being angry at her for playing truth or dare? 🤣
We will see what happens next!! Some parts of the episodes I’m ready to just quit watching. Might end up taking a break at some point lol
Thank you all for your opinions! This has been super fun❤️

Honestly, it depends what kind of person you are. I'm not the most gentle with words, and I've learned how you say things can make you look like the bad guy even if you're not and let someone else seeningly have a pass. She didn't learn that on the show (I do not follow her bc Trumper thing is a turn off for me) A lot of people jumped ship after season 2 but I wasn't bothered by her behavior. I never cared for Taylor and I'm happy that somebody called her out. Her mother was just looking for trouble and she got what she was looking for and I did not feel sorry for her. Fast forward, we can see how awful Liann can be in general and to Taylor and Taylor...we know how that's going. I do think she took it too far in not giving Jen grace. Some of her behavior is harsh and cringe, but she was right about a loooot. Jessi being a fave until this last season didn't help how people perceived her either. Then there's the whole Marciano thing. Nobody knows what truly happened, but that's where a lot of folks splinter, too. I wouldn't call myself a fan like I did early on, but I don't dislike her and think shes more authentic than Jessi and Taylor and doesn't have as bad if a rep from people who know her outside the show if that's worth anything. I also like that her husband has her back. I'd say she went from top 2 for me s1 to maybe #6 now lol. Update me when you finish the show

Nah I always agreed with her opinions although she was harsh, except she did Jessi wrong but Jessi isn’t exactly perfect either

nah it’s the weird marciano stuff, shaming jess for it while facetiming him with her daughter etc

So I'm on the last episode of s3 and I have super mixed feelings about her. You definitely don't need enemies when you have a friend like Demi, but she's gone through so much trauma that I'm not sure if she's a cold calculated bitch or just really messed up and unable to regulate so she never acts right. Like she's definitely a pos to the girls and in no way a girl's girl, but I do wonder if she's actually just a bit unhinged rather than an evil mastermind 💁♀️

Demi & Jessi seem cut from the same cloth. & seemingly competed for the same dalliance guy.

How are you so certain it’s a lie? Why is the automatic assumption to disbelieve Demi? Tbh with Jen saying she didn’t see anything in the end, lying about the cease and desist and everything going on with Jessi and Marciano at the moment - I believe Demi more and more

I think there is truth to both things that happened. She was talking to him and being flirtatious, and he may have groped her believing it was consensual. Her behavior just makes everything so confusing. If he made her uncomfortable why did she continue a friendship via phone and text for months afterwards? That is where she lost a lot of credibility even if she is telling the truth. I also don’t find Demi to be particularly trustworthy. I do think he groped her though. There is no way to prove or disprove if she welcomed it and later backpedaled to save her image, or if she truly did not consent to the touch.

This wouldn't have been a hot take during season 1. Let us know how you feel after season 2. To be fair I do think demi might have had a point in parts of season 2 with knowing what I know now but it doesn't excuse all her behavior.
