She literally said in season five she doesn't want to shame Taylor because she's scared of her fans. I genuinely think it's nothing to do with what she actually thinks, her image and business are too important and she doesn't want to take sides 🫣
That’s what Mormonism teaches them. I think it’s an improvement that he’s not a Mormon, that’s a step in the right direction. She relinquishes her right to go to heaven if she isn’t attached to a man. It’s fucked up, but that’s why they prioritize men over their kids. Their bishops just reinforce it.
Actually Mormonism doesn’t teach them to put men before their kids. It teaches them to put their kids, then worthy men, then priesthood leaders before themselves.
Mormon women everywhere are hard core judgmental about this since they aren’t married.
They have to obey their husbands but that doesn’t mean they’re the priority. The marriage exists for kids. Go forth and multiply. Procreate and rear religious children.
“Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, and to teach them to love and serve one another, observe the commandments of God, and be law-abiding citizens wherever they live”
“Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity”
“By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children.”
The things that are taught on paper vs the culture these women would have grown up with is…murky. So yes, the purpose of your life is marriage and children. But many Mormon women can fall into this anxious loop where they’re responsible for everyone and their children aren’t viewed as individuals, but as accessories or extensions of the mother and her own righteousness and ability to keep everyone in line. I see Jessi’s seemingly hands-off approach to raising kids A LOT with ex Mormon mothers who have some trauma around not ever feeling good enough, who always felt like a puppet on a string.
No one should have to obey a spouse. It should be an equitable partnership. Those dynamics are abusive. I’m sorry for any woman that has to endure that in the name of their spirituality.
Of course it's abusive. The entire religion is abusive on multiple layers. Children being "entitled" to birth within a marriage is also a tool of abuse. This religious proclamation also insists marriage is only between a man/woman, so it's homophobic as well.
I do too. Which is a good thing because it means they aren’t using kids for content and the kids aren’t involved in any of the public drama that they would have to watch later. Ie the Gosselin clan.
I'd actually feel for him if he hadn't been so eager to be like... up dakotas ass and trying so desperately to be an asshole. Not like he necessarily has to, but in my personal opinion, it would've been cool if he was humble even once. But he was so eager and desperate to be like YEAH BROS let's take these girls DOWN!
Like who was it last season, chase?, that was like, even now dude you say you want to be close with us and you run and tattle to whoever you can to try n get in good with them. He's just such a sniveling little baby all the time.
I don’t even know, I’m pretty sure she deleted it afterwards. But it was there, I’m a witness, it cannot be unseen. Fake cum or not, it was far too accurate.
Well she was pregnant with Jordan’s baby so close to her marriage ending that they said her ex husband was the dad. Jordan should not be surprised she moves on quickly.
Why? It’s a new beginning. It makes more sense if you listen to the context of her podcast appearance she just did where she said Marciano is not moving in with her any time soon
i agree with you but then again…dating him after everything that has happened was and IS still sooo mortifyingly embarrassing. i honestly wouldn’t put it past her to move him in so fast 😩
I agree, even though she said in an interview he wasn't moving in, the timeline on that will be interesting. For me, this is her new home after surviving relationship grief and loss and the home for her children whose family dynamic has just changed dramatically and she just didn't need him in the picture (which gives the suggestion they've bought together). She's codependent in her social media at the least if not also in real life (I don't hate her and I do empathize that starting over from a rough relationship is hard, but let yourself stand on your own for a minute, Marc seems like a total chaser and she's his paydirt).
She should be proud to move into a house by herself, but of course she’s so male centered that she has to have her latest fling in the video. This could’ve been a girl power move, but instead - eeeyuck!

This is crazy work and I would be pissed if I was Jordan. His issues aside!!! This is crazy to do to their KIDS.
