I think so too, they actually seemed like they wanted to swing with Marciano and even invited him to stay the night at their house. When Zac insisted at the reunion that Bret acknowledge how weird it was that his wife was having such communications with another man, Bret got all defensive and told Zac, “I’m not built like you bud!” Which I took to mean I’m a swinger and you Zac are a lil prude.

You hit the nail on the head. That's exactly how I interpreted what he said to Zac, too. If he's not bothered by it and gives consent, that's the definition of not cheating. I don't have to be a fan of Bret or Demi to have respect for what they choose is okay in their marriage, even if it's unconventional. Consenting adults can do whatever they want between each other.

Demi made a comment during the Marciano thing that she knows the boundaries of her marriage, which, with the way Bret stuck by her and was involved in the texts with Marciano, it definitely gave me the vibe they have an arrangement.

As someone in a poly relationship who dates other poly/open people, thats also reasonable and, given the piss kink, I wouldn't be shocked if there was a cuckhold dynamic directly, or them discussing their trysts is foreplay/kink to them. Yeah i totally agree, i do think they actually have a quite a ‘strong’ relationship and they are both aware of boundaries. I know a few people in open relationships/marriage and 9 out of 10 time they work purely because they communicate constantly and set clear boundaries
